I’ve reached out... but he’s a unicorn. Maybe someday.

I'll check in with Preston and see when the Magic map will go up... its a good one. But they just made it the day before the test, so give it some time to get posted to the website.

We didn't keep him from expressing any of his views, so not sure what "feather ruffling" you're referring to.

We finished part two... and only made it up to the start of TwoTwo Motorsports. Part two will go up next week, part 3 will follow that. His recollection is so sharp, and he isn't afraid to tell stories, so it's taking some time to get through it all. ... more »

This was 1984... when the start was to the right of the track just past the finish. I think this was the Yamaha Gold Cup series... I’m #60. Not sure who else is in the shot.

Great feedback... thanks man. Definitely have to modify movements when you have the knees of an 80 y/o like I do. 🤪

Ping I was surprised to see you include Reed in the GNCC reply, especially given that he’s said that he didn’t enjoy the long hard slog of the outdoors, but then I saw on his social media that he currently has a couple of XC KTMs and a stack of 18in hoops! 2020 just may been the strangest year ever.....

I started riding again a few years ago and tried my son's state of the art knee braces and HATED them. I went wirh EBC neoprene slip on's with knee cups and at least some lateral bracing and I love it. Once I got past...more

There are two things we motocross fans can't stand: Change, and the way things are. [eyeroll emoji]

I moved out of California in 89 and my absolute favorite place to ride was Hisperia after the rain. Absolutely perfect traction and you could cut new tracks on the side of a hill. We use to build tracks on the hills of Yorba Linda and we named one “Yorbadilla”.

Listen to the Whiskey Throttle Show with Coach Robb Beams... so much usable info regarding training/nutrition.

Manufacturers are in the unenviable position of trying to design a bike that will work for a wide range of riders, so they end up being pretty ok for most but not great for anyone. Enter the aftermarket.

Added reply in a thread Wonder if there is potential for helmet improvements with this materials development 7/16/2020 12:04 PM

Interesting article. I've tried to learn as much as possible about helmet safety over the years... One thing that has stayed constant is that EPS [expanded polystyrene], the foam that lines the inside of your helmet, is still the most effective material ... more »
