People who claim bikelife and ride in the streets are the worst kind of people

Just gotta ignore the bad stuff and keep positive. Some people are freaking about about the RCH thing as they might come to a close but teams simply come and go although it is sad to see them go ifs not the end of the world.

Yea thats very true. We will never have a shortage of teams. Some stay for very long others not so much like the short lived motorcycle superstore team.

The hell does "as we wind down RCH" mean? Sound like they could be ending the team?? I hope not.

Are you sure the rhythm section ones are that small? I know they are smaller than the big ones but I feel like thats even a bit small.

Added reply in a thread SX triple jump sizes 7/26/2017 4:49 PM

I dont think thats a good idea.. if you crash your gonna end up like Roczen but a lot worse. And keep in mind he crashed on a smaller jump. Just because bikes can handle doesnt mean they should have gigantic jumps.

Thats not what I meant. I stated a normal rhythm section which you can double or triple. I want to know the distance if you were to triple it.

Any one know how big a supercross triple is? I've heard they are about 65 feet but is that for the big ones or the normal size ones in a rhythm section or am I just dumb and they are the same size.

Yea thats what I said. Some people say cost but I see young adults still affording racing and some high school kids and it is true classes not just over the past few decades but even recent years have grown which means more waiting time. I also think ... more »

This thread was letting in a ray of hope but now some things are starting to sound silly, some people are starting to sound like conspiracy theorists.

Added reply in a thread Local MX Racing Turnout 7/22/2017 6:38 AM

Well some people race and others don't. Our race series is generally a race every two weeks so in between people like to practice and then race. But some people just like to ride. And like mentioned, much more riding time. More classes have been added ... more »

After reading many responses I think the problem is not so much cost as I see plenty people afford bikes but more or so the amount of activity. Ive only raced a few times and it was fun but more waiting than riding. If races want to be popular again ... more »

We have plenty of tracks and practices just not many racers. I comapared race results from 2007 and their is like between 10 and 20 people difference or more per class.

I see plenty kids outside playing sports. Their are the group who do stay inside but that was kinda a big deal back in 2013 and such. I see plenty of kids on instagram who ride but motocross is not for everyone. My little brother likes to ride occasionally ... more »

About two. They charge about 40-50 bucks a class I can't remember to well its been a while.

Added reply in a thread Local MX Racing Turnout 7/20/2017 8:45 PM

I can practice right now for 30-40 bucks. For an entire weekend of racing its about 270 for the gate fee, class sign up, fuel and other little expenses. Including a new bike and maintenance for racing it gets pretty pricey. They run races really well ... more »

Yea, it quite sucks and I think younger people would still get into it, but its to expensive unless their parents help. I think someone who has a job and has graduated school is more likely though. Im just curious what will happen to all these big MX ... more »
