Added reply in a thread Ear Plugs for MX - Do we need them?! 8/20/2020 1:09 PM

I can't ride without ear plugs anymore. It's painful to ride without them. I wear ear pro doing most noisy things nowadays.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna go with the 14". That'll keep a little more load off the engine. Should be fun.

I'm heading to the dunes with my son for his first time next week. He'll be riding an RM85. It currently has the standard wheel size mounted but I have the big wheel kit also. I'm thinking the big wheels would do much better in the dunes. He's not super ... more »

Here's what I use for work around the house and track work. All 3 machines are 40hp. I bought all of them used but don't mind working on machines so I'd rather save money. I'd be into the same machines new about $130+k whereas I'm in only $30k. I push

I walked the field and kinda planned it out in my head and then just dropped the tiller and started. We bought the property a couple years ago and I just finished building our house so this kind of stuff was on the back burner. There was no riding through ... more »

I finally got a tiller I had bought all fixed up and operational and starting scratching out a track in one of my fields. Eventually I'll extend the track up into the woods and make some technical trail type sections and use the elevation on my property

I've been getting a YZ85 fixed up for my son and I've got some jetting questions. When wicking the throttle from 1/4 throttlw or idle it falls on its face and dies. If you roll it on it pulls hard. It idles nice and has decent throttle response, just ... more »

Insane. Environmentalists are unreal. They'll probably point at some ruts and point out the soil erosion and ask what your plan is for mitigating it. This stuff really just irks me. Can't people just let things be?

I did and it was right on the money.

I pulled the clutch side cover off and could see the crank bearing through the seal. New seal has been ordered. I pulled the carb out also and all the parts are where they should be. Thanks for that too. It'll be up and running in no time. Thanks guys. ... more »

Good call. I was going all in on carburetion but that could be it. It would work to drain the transmission fluid and then run it to see if the smoke goes away right? Not going to ride it around, just run it on the stand.

I picked up an '02 YZ85 for my boy and have been fixing it up for him. It's got a new topend, air filter, carb's been gone through. All the jetting is stock and in the video the needle is clipped at the leanest setting. Fuel is premium @ 32:1 synthetic ... more »

I lived in one with my wife and 4 kids for almost 2 years while building a house. Luckily we had use of a sauna in a separate building next to where we were parked and used that for showering. We were hooked up to utilities as well which is key for any ... more »

Check out their profile on OpenSecrets. While it's not a lot of money, what they do donate overwhelmingly goes to Democratic candidates. Weird times we are in. Look through their instagram page. It's brutal. Benchmade Knife Profile

Mine must be a unicorn since it starts hot or cold with no issue. I agree it's heavy and ergo's are not what a new bike is, but power is solid and mine has been reliable as anything. I trail ride mostly and it does just fine for what I need.
