This is also what I was hoping for... Thank you!! I have been looking closely at the 6D and the SE4 since it was released. The 6D has been real world proven. Zach Bell's bad crash in Texas a couple years ago really sold that helmet to a lot of riders. ... more »

No, a helmet will never be able to stop that. But it's intended purpose is to slow that movement down as much as possible.

I agree, you wouldn't need a re-valve or a re-spring until you actually get used to the controls and the feel of riding the bike. It's not like you're going to be out there trying to qualify for the night show. IMO you would be better off buying the ... more »

Gotta say, you guys are right about this track. When driving in you would never expect the dirt to be as good as it is seeing as how all the terrain around and leading up to makes you think you're in Barstow, but it's titz.

I can imagine that it would be pretty costly for a consumer to do one of these tests, seeing as how you would have to buy at least 4 of each helmet to get a full spectrum of the forces you would experience. Front, back, left, and right sides.. not to

I'm curious to know if anyone on vital has heard of any publications that have done a helmet shootout...? You know, maybe with an experiment that has been set up to take measurements of forces transferred to the inside of the helmets with impacts..? ... more »

He chose 37 as his permanent number last year, then changed it to 17 this year. Being a Savatgy fan, I thought it was kinda lame as well. Webb probably got a good laugh along with the rest of the fans that followed the little rivalry last year.
