Go with the gen 1 then they will be awesome for your application.

I haven’t ridden the gen 1’s but rode gen 2 on a fc350 set up for novice kx and they are a dream. Super plush, insane bottoming resistance. Originally the gen 2 was for more aggressive riders but they have a great setting if your not setting the world ... more »

I have one on my ktm. Nice little piece can’t say I noticed any difference in how the brake felt.

I wonder if it’s possible that is just condensation from heating and cooling of ambient air? Of course if your bike is in a heated garage that wouldn’t happen

I don’t have experience with it but most people don’t like the way the AER tracks the ground. the only way to get the planted feel most are after I’d with a spring conversion. The k tech and race tech are good options for those on a budget.
