Added reply in a thread HR watch recommendations for moto? 1/9/2018 8:37 AM

M400. HR and GPS both. When using for just HR without GPS the battery will last weeks without charging. GPS uses it more but battery will last for over +6 hours of tracking. Last longer than that, 6 hours is the longest I’ve used GPS for continuously. ... more »

250's are already structured to give this a try so they should give it a try there first. 6 rounds each region and a 5 race 250 SX Championship series at the end. Best man wins.

Yep. Started skipping through it. I swear 20 minutes later they were all still making the same points with no one agreeing.

Racing is not letting the other guy pass so you can try to take them out for a third time.

Added reply in a thread Matthes on Dungey/Reed Drama... 4/2/2017 9:58 AM

Agreed. Failed logic. "He called me immature so I guess I better go act immature to prove him wrong." Dumb. No longer rooting for Reed. Fan of both Eli and Dungey but Reed's ego robbed us all of a good race.

Added reply in a thread If He Had A Couple More Laps... 1/16/2017 2:53 PM

That's what I saw. It didn't matter if it was 20, 24, or 30 laps - Dungey had a plan to attempt his pass on the last lap to keep Rozcen from having much of a chance to come back. He tried and it didn't work out. But I'm sure he feels better about his ... more »

Added reply in a thread Heart Rate/GPS. Whats the best to use for MX? 6/21/2016 6:43 AM

I have a Polar M400 that works really well for both heart rate and GPS. It does require a chest strap but I've found that is the only way to get reliable HR data anyways.

I have the same model year bike. As stated above its mostly likely your fuel screw. It's worth while buying the aftermarket style that lets you adjust it with your fingers as major elevation/temperature changes will cause it to lean out enough to pop ... more »

Added reply in a thread What is your Chase suggestion? 4/29/2016 9:57 AM

Drop worst single race from Rounds 1-6. Drop a second race between Rounds 7-12. All of the last five rounds (13-17) count (No dropped races). Dungey would have had only +30 points on Roczen after Santa Clara instead of +42 points. Adds a little excitement ... more »

Added reply in a thread Polar M400 MX Mode?!?! 4/10/2016 6:54 AM

"Other outdoor" and I customize my speed ranges so that the gps overlay on their website will show where I slow it down and pick it back up again.

Polar M400. Used it during a 2 1/2 hour Desert Race and recorded the whole thing. HR, Custom speed zones, GPS which can be exported to Goodle Earth. Pretty stoked about it and the data. Average HR for the 2 1/2 hours was around 180 and I'm not that young. ... more »

Horrible start but finished 28 OA Novice and 2nd in my class. I'll take it. I can't make Sugarloafers but will be back for Knolls for more dust and whoops.

Added reply in a thread Hare and Hound helmet cam 3/4/2016 10:56 AM

I raced this on the Novice/C wave - +40 mind you. Usually it seems the dust gets bearable after 5 miles or so as the field spreads out but I think I was somewhere between 10-15 miles before I finally cleared the dust. Sure does mess with your head going ... more »
