First Look: 2009 Cobra Lineup 4

Okay, so if you’re not in the market for a new 250 or 450cc MXer, you might be a mini dad eyeing a bike for your budding moto star. You know, maybe the same brand that Davi Millsaps, Mike Alessi, Nico Izzi, Austin Stroupe and Trey Canard spent some of their early racing days on. An American-made bike with more than 200 National-level amateur MX wins in the past decade. Yep, that’d be Cobra.

Cobra is excited to announce a new offering to our bike lineup for 2009.
Based on the already successful CX65, the CX65 C.A.R.D. (Cobra Advanced
Racing Development) edition offers a truly modified option right from the
factory. A stage IV engine package, rider specific suspension and trick
components galore make the CX65 C.A.R.D. bike just what your little racer
needs to take his/her career to the next level.

In only its sophomore year of competition the CX65 made jaws drop pulling
holeshot after holeshot all season long. Furthermore, Michael Young made
history when he piloted the bike to its first national championship at the Lake
Whitney Spring Classic. For 2009 Riders aboard this bike will not only benefit
from riding the best handling and fastest bike on the track but they’ll also
look really good while they’re doing it!

2008 was an awesome year for the CX50 Senior. This little bike proved why it’s known as the “King” of the 50 class winning championship after championship all season long. Sean Cantrell led the championship count with Clay Woeste sneaking one in claiming the highly sought after Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championship title. When it comes time to run up front in the 7-8 class no bike even compares!

Coming off another astonishing season with championship wins at all the major amateur national events it’s easy to see why the CX50 Junior is the bike to have in the 51cc 4-6 classes. 2008 brought top 10 Cobra sweeps throughout the majority of the national events including a top 17 sweep at the prestigious Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Nationals. With results like these it’s a no-brainer when it comes time to selecting a 4-6 class bike!
