First Look: 2015 Husqvarnas 2

We got a sneak peek at the 2015 Huskys courtesy of their global marketing department a couple days ago, but here's the scoop on the U.S. models. Even better? Michael Lindsay's on his way to Sweden this weekend to check out the new bikes, and will have a report up soon.

Husky's info is below.

Husqvarna Introduces 2015 Lineup Including Four All-New Models

Husky welcomes FC 350, TE 125 and two street-legal dual-sport models to North American market!

Murrieta, CA – June 28, 2014 – Now in the second model year of its neo-generation, Husqvarna Motorcycles is proud to reveal the 2015 model line, featuring all-new street-legal dual-sport bikes, and US-spec motocross models. The FC, TC, TE and FE motorcycles continue to embody the rich heritage of Husqvarna, its premium quality and dedication to racing while the bold styling and commitment to excellence reflect the values of Sweden – Husqvarna’s land of origin.

For the 2015 model year, Husqvarna is expanding its range from 10 to 14 motorcycles. All new to the North American market are the FC 350 4-stroke motocrosser, the TE 125 off-road 2-stroke, and two street-legal dual-sport models – the FE 350 S and FE 501 S.

“Last year was a fantastic re-introduction for Husqvarna,” explained Husqvarna Motorcycles Brand Manager Steve Lawler. “Premium quality and industry-leading innovation of the 2014 model line has laid the groundwork for Husqvarna’s new generation, and having a wide variety of choices is the next step in strengthening the brand.”

Husqvarna is proud to welcome dual-sport models back to its lineup. The demand for street-legal enduro bikes is substantial, and Husqvarna is ready to lead the segment with its all-new FE 350 S and FE 501 S. Husqvarna is also eager to receive the FC 350 and TE 125 for the North American market.

The 2015 model year is going to bring Husqvarna back into AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross racing! Husky is ready to join the top ranks with the cutting-edge 2015 FC 250 and FC 450. The North American market will receive an elite spec of these motocross bikes, featuring a subframe made from carbon-fiber-reinforced polyamide – an advanced injection-molded material selected for its light weight and exceptional strength.

“We are very excited to introduce the 2015 Husqvarna Motorcycles,” Lawler added. “The four new models and the advancements made to our motocross line are going to make a very big statement for the brand: Husqvarna is headed back to the top.”

All-new 2015 Husqvarna Motorcycles!

TE 125

Husqvarna’s 2-stroke enduro category grows a little wider with the new TC 125, which provides even more choice to off-road riders looking for the simple design and easy maintenance of a 2-stroke. The TE 125 carries many of the same features of the larger TE machines, including the sophisticated 4CS WP fork, linked rear suspension featuring the DCC (dual compression control) WP rear shock. Husqvarna’s signature CNC-machined triple clamps ensure optimum clamping surface and precision control of the front end while also providing four different handlebar positions.

The eighth-liter mill features a high-performance cylinder and power valve. The Vertex piston is designed to deliver healthy bottom-end torque as well as excellent top-end performance. In keeping with its simple and lightweight nature, the TE 125 relies on a kick-starter (rather than electric).

The TE 125’s Magura hydraulic clutch offers smooth, consistent actuation of the six-speed gearbox while Boyesen reed valves ensure crisp throttle response and maximum durability.

FC 350

Husqvarna’s middleweight 4-stroke motocrosser has arrived! By combining the lightweight agility of a 250 and the hard-hitting power of a 450, the FC 350 provides premium performance on the track. Based on the FC 250 platform, the 350 is powered by a DOHC engine with lightweight titanium valves and DLC (diamond like carbon) coated finger followers. The CP-Carrillo forged box-type piston combines maximum performance and reliability with minimum weight, and cranks out an impressive 54 horsepower.

The FC 350 carries the same 2015 upgrades to the FC 250, including the CSS clutch and one-piece machined steel clutch basket (see below). The FC 350 shares the suspension components, and key features such as electric start and Brembo brakes and hydraulic clutch with the FC family. Unlike its 250 and 450 siblings, however, the FC 350 will carry Husqvarna’s standard fiberglass-reinforced polyamide composite rear subframe.

FE 350 S & FE 501 S

Husqvarna’s street-legal dual-sport motorcycles are back! The FE 350 S and FE 501 S combine high-performance off-road performance with street-legal versatility. Based on the already popular FE 350 and FE 501, the “S” models come equipped with all the accessories you need – and nothing you don’t – to carry a license plate, opening up worlds of possibility to your trail and tarmac adventures.

The FE 350 S carries a DOHC 4-stroke engine with a heavier crankshaft than its off-road counterpart for improved traction. The FE 501 S is powered by an SOHC 4-stroke engine with titanium intake valves and DLC-coated rocker arms, also tuned for improved traction and maximum durability with a three-layer head gasket.

The FE 350 S and FE 501 S are equipped with the same premium suspension components as the rest of the FE family – the 4CS WP fork and link-mounted DCC WP shock – but are optimized for the specific demands of dual-sport riding.

2015 Husqvarna Motocross Highlights

All FC & TC (excluding TC 85)

New 4CS WP fork
Four-chamber fork specifically designed for motocross with improved damping and lighter weight. Clicker settings can be easily adjusted without tools via dials on top of the fork tubes (rebound on the right side, compression on the left).

New 22mm front axle
Lighter weight 22mm front axle – replacing previous 26mm axle. Axle clamps have shorter offset and increased trail for improved stability.
