Tech Tip: Installing a New Seat Cover 4

We stopped by the Factory Effex headquarters recently, and Mike Tomlinson showed us the hot tip way to install both one of their TC4 seat covers, and “The Bump” foam insert. The two-tone TC4 covers go for $89.95 with the bump, or by itself or no bump for $79.95. Besides the aggressive texture of the seat cover itself, it has additional upholstery work on the top of the seat for bonus traction. For riders who have an aversion to carving up foam and want simplicity of the adhesive-backed Bump, it goes for $29.95 by itself.

For guys who prefer the look of a black seat (and a little less aggressive gripper arrangement), Mike suggested the Factory Effex B4 gripper covers.

Okay, grab your staple puller (or a flat blade screwdriver), a good staple gun (electric preferred), and get ready to go to work.
