On Friday before the Grand Prix of The Netherlands, the press was invited to detour south into Belgium to check out Geboers Racing Promotions, the central point for Suzuki's European MX team efforts. This is also the home base for the current MX1 World Champ, Steve Ramon; as well as his new teammate, Ken de Dycker. The 28-year-old World Champ is ready to defend his title, free of the wrist injury that slowed him during part of the '07 campaign.

Suzuki has also stepped up their factory efforts in the MX2 class, with teams like Swift Suzuki and Inotec. These teams now get factory support through GRP for Pascal Leuret and Xavier Boog, respectively.
