This afternoon at AT&T Park was somewhat compressed due to the overnight rain, with a late track walk, followed by a single round of practice. Once the plastic was pulled off, the track appeared surprisingly good, despite one late shower during the seeded Lites and Supercross practices.

Makita Suzuki's Ricky Carmichael was on fire, setting the fastest practice lap in the big-bore class ahead of Monster Energy Kawasaki's James Stewart, while Ryan Villopoto topped the leader board in the Lites Class.
