Wow, bikes looks great for just having a pipe, number plates, seat and graphics! Park the KX125 and let 'er rip!

Bike looks awesome! Might pick up one of these the coming weeks. Your thoughts on the bike? Good/bad things about it. I currently ride a 18 450.

I like it for sure, I initially had worries about the stiffness of the suspension in stock form, but I messed with some compression settings on the weekend and got the bike riding so much better in the chop. and settling into ruts.

I can set this bike into a rut and just drive through it strong, I have never had this feeling before but the bike is so planted in the turns I'm able to set up during the corner and then shift my weight to help pull it into an exit position. I never have had that feeling from a bike before, almost use the bar and front end to bring my weight into the exit.

Feels really good, I'm also Not sure how you like the 450 but the power difference may worry you stepping down. It's strong but it doesn't feel as strong as my KTM was in the bottom end... Perhaps I can get some more down low by changing maps but i haven't messed completely with them yet.

Thanks, good info. Will be keeping an eye on this build incase you update it Smile

I really like my 450, just think I would be faster on a 250 due to the fact that I like to rev and the 450 is not made for that at all. My dad is getting back into the whole mx deal (he mainly ride enduro) and he's going to pick up a 2019 YZ250F soon for himself, He want's me to try it out and see what I think, I have a feeling I will like it a lot.

Nice bike, but it is not really a "bike build". Three wrenches and a spring puller does not a bike build make.

Then 99% of the posts in this sub forum are not bike builds, what's the point of saying that anyway? Waste of time for you and you only.

Moto-related?

Not 99%, but definitely way too many. It's a bike build subforum. Slapping on bars, grips, plastic and a muffler is not a bike build to me.

"dilldozer" OK, my turn... Don't copycat your mom's originality. You know she was the first to call me that.
