HRC 6 speed transmission, Honda and Factory Connection ran 5 speeds back in 2002 thru 2004. Also had all the transmission REMed tumbled and WPC coated to make it shift even smoother. Photo

Have two different crankshafts one is a HRC crank, and the other is a 2007 crank balanced and coated for the long rod and SRS piston. Team Honda and Geico actually used a stock 2001 crankshaft for the majority of races . Photo

Nice piston, no cut outs. Nice raised exhaust floor and big inner radius'. How long are the rods? The piston seems a taller crown.
Don't see the point in a gear position sensor on a 125, but then again muddy races. Cool to see a port map and crank side of cases.

I'd like the tranny.
Thanks for sharing.

Your obvious means to acquire these components is impressive in itself.
It seems like you just back up to Honda HRC warehouse/shop and throw wads of cash about as they load up your semi/van/Truck.
Just how you were able to acquire this stuff would be an enjoyable story in itself.
I look forward to those mid 90 builds as this is very near and dear to me.

Great job on sharing content.

Your obvious means to ...more

I have been collect HRC stuff for about 10 years or more. I had some real good contacts in the beginning, but it was different then. There was hardly anyone around with the stuff. Now there are guys trying to make a business out of finding and selling works parts and the pricing has gotten kind of crazy. Also they are guys that are making replica stuff and claiming it’s real, it kind of sad.
