TBT is out of the PNW? Think I recognize the name. Thanks!

Got my seat cover today, and Topar ignition cover. Still got tons of stuff coming, including graphics. Sure taking them awhile to ship! Should go well with seat cover. Will be most likely get cyl/head sometime next week.

Also, what do you guys do with the front brake line and Cycra stadium plate? The stock holder doesn't fit anymore...

Cut a hole for the old brake line guide to poke through or get a cycra brake line guide that bolts to the front of the plate.

Bunch more parts coming in next week as well. Also trying to decide who to do for suspension, Precision Concepts or Enzo...hmmm.

Still waiting on bunch of stuff to get here (graphics, top end) but put on a new rear brake lever and hammerhead shifter.

Also fixed the brake routing issue. Turns out the stock clamp works if I put in a spacer. Saves me cutting into front number plate.

Magura Clutch installed. Clutch pull feels quite a bit better and reduced effort to pull.

And it's all done for now! Tom got the top end to me and that was the last needed. Rode it up and down the street for now.

How does the 14/50 gearing feel so far? Prob not enough time to get a sense of it yet but I think with the extra cubes it can pull the taller gears pretty easily Smile I plan on dropping down to 14/49 on my 265. My 250 has 14/51 but I run in deep sand & a 120 rear tire.

Also did he ask you if it was ok to engrave the cylinder & head?

What RM did you get? Was looking at those the same time I saw this in Tucson.

It's too short, can already tell just cruising around neighborhood. He gives a tuning guide and recommends 15/49-51 depending on conditions. I already have the 15t so might just throw that on.

He didn't ask to engrave but kind of figured he would. It's like an autograph to me, so I'm cool with it.

I picked up this one from Chino Valley, AZ. It seems like there are better deals to be had if you are willing to drive.

I like it! Don't think I saw that bike before. Was trying to stay in San Diego, but most for sale are in LA. Had to drive to Yuma for this one though.

Finally got a solid 2 hour ride in, and bike ran great! Plenty of power, still a lot of snap even with the 11-oz flywheel but not obscene amounts. Far more then the stock 250 (of course).

Next step is sending suspension to Enzo!

Question for folks that may have this issue. The gasket/seal piece that connects silencer and pipe, is there any other method you guys know of to make it stop leaking? I used Hi-temp silicone like I have in the past but it only lasted like an hour before it started spooging again. Pic of seal attached just in case.

I recently had this same problem, maybe it's a dep design thing, I'm going to try moving the boot further back to better cover the joint. I was going to try silicone after that but maybe not. I've read the ktm boot is better.

I had an original turbine core and my exh. Gasket always annoyingly leaked even when wrapping with high quality teflon tape. Switched to an R304 PC silencer and that solved all my problems and runs better as well. I had to go up a size on my main jet tho.

I have a brand new DEP pipe and R304 silencer. Maybe I will just order the new gasket but really kind of expensive $23.79 + shipping.

Is there any bind in the exhaust system? Is your subframe straight? I try and go over everything to make sure bolts just slide right in and nothing is pulling on anything or binding, the subframes get tweaked pretty easily and make the exhaust not line up proper

I used to use zip Ty’s on my Ktm. Use two on either end of the rubber boot and it helped

Thanks, I think I may try zip ties along with more RTV silicon. Sub frame is good and everything lines up perfectly.

What is your elevation?
How much leaner did you get it once you got it back from Tom?
What ratio do you mix at?
