Whats up guys! Finally pulled the trigger on a "New" bike (new to me anyways) and snagged a '12 RMZ 450 for a cool $3200.

The bike came with the following:
- Flow Yellow Plastics
- ASV Clutch and Front Brake (For Sale BTW)
- Rocket Exhaust Header W/ stock silencer
- Neken Bars
- Yoshimira Tune
- Loud Mouth system
- Recluse Clutch
- and a few other goodies I'm sure I'm forgetting

My plans for this bike are too get it set up for the summer, when schools out, and I can really start racing again as I have been out of it for a little while now. I've never owned a bike with EFi, or a 450, or even a 4-stroke so I'm really excited for this season. If anyone has any tips/tricks for these bikes I'd love to hear them!

Just as mxb2 said.

You've got the main other areas covered with the Rekluse clutch and Loudmouth intake.

You could re do the crank breather if you wanted. I've got mine so its just the 1 fat tube, doing a 180 out the outlet and back to the rear shock. Removing the T pieces and smaller hoses above the ign cover. Cleans up the engine a little.

Other than that keep up on maintenance and thoroughly clean the strainer filter below the shift lever at every oil change.

A 270mm rotor kit is always nice but not a necessity

I got really lucky and the suspension was already sprung for my weight and riding ability, I rode with the guy I bought the bike from a few times and we run about the same speed.

Really would like to snag an A-kit but the college kid budget doesn't allow for itPinch

Cant decide if I want to keep the flow plastics and get black wheels or if I should go for a Yellow/White look with some gold wheels.

mxb2 how do you like the WC perch? I have ASV's right now that I absolutely hate. I've only ever ran ARC/ Protaper before.

RussB Il look into redoing the crank breather

Yeah not a huge fan of them either, this is the second time around with having them on a bike and honestly they just feel like shit
