$400 2003 CR250

Edited Date/Time 3/26/2019 11:13am
Hey guys! New to the forum, after seeing all these awesome builds I couldn't help but join in. Starting with a 2003 CR250 in rough shape. Good thing it was cheap! All the progress will be posted on YouTube. First three videos are up already. Enjoy!

Same here - great channel and watch it all the time. My guilty pleasure is watching grenade’d engines being torn down!

Good to see you on the forum now Cameron !
Been watching your videos on YouTube since the beginning, you're doing a great job.

Nice work done already on that bike, can't wait to see this thing finished.

Watching you tear down bikes and clean parts is so relaxing.

I want to buy a part or two from you but you don't have any for my 2 bikes. Ill keep checking.

Great videos, for small holes I use a babies toothbrush - nice and small head?

You said your cleaning tank was about 140 degrees. What is the heat source??
I have a parts cleaner, but I'd rather work with the Simple Green and I live in the great white north, so working in warm liquid is quite appealing.

I appreciate it everyone! As far as the heated parts washer, currently working on a video that covers everything I've done to it.

Your videos are great. My wife thinks I'm nuts when I'm sat there watching you clean old dirbike parts on my iPad.

That's not exactly what I would call rough shape, especially for $400. That thing actually has probably relatively low hours: original seat cover, pipe is dented but still the stock one, clutch cover is not super worn out, frame/swingarm seems free of any major dents/wear. Everything is a little beat up but seems original, heck those tires might even be its first set. My guess is that it was owned by someone that wasn't really into dirtbikes that much, beat her around a bit, and then put it a corner to collect dust for a long time. Either way, heck of a find!!
