I'm rebuilding an 88 RM250 engine and put the crank in yesterday. I also put the new seals in on both sides but think I may have pushed them in too deep as the crank seems to have some resistance when I rotate it. Should the seals fit all the way in to the top of the bearings or should they sit flush with the case?
If the crank started being difficult after the seals were installed you should be OK. The last yz250 i built did that. I put some grease on the Inner diameter of the seals and it helped quite a bit.
