Well , like the title say's , I didn't really do a build thread on this one , but more or less just wanted to show the final part of the build.

I bought the last 18' I could find out here in the NW about 5 months or so ago. I bought it a lot earlier than I was expecting to , so it sat a while. But anyways , the past two weeks I spent the time to tear her down to the bare frame , and use assembly grease or loctite on every nut and bolt on it.

List of parts , and / work I had done.

Milled head from 0.065" to 0.045".
New PWK 38 with JD jetting kit
New Boyesen Rad valve
New Scalvini pipe
New Husky edition FMF powercore 2.1
Modified airbox
Carbon Pro Skid plate
Carbon Pro Clutch protector
Carbon Pro Gas tank protector
Acerbis X-grip frame guard's.

Side note : I didn't build my 125 , as I had another guy do it ( Thanks Joel ! ) And I could not believe the lack of grease ( especially in the rear end! ). Enough grease to put on the end of a Q-tip was what I found in the rear linkage. The steering stem wasn't bad , but the grease they use is like thin Vaseline. Another picture attached here is the horrendous piece of shit stock reed cage. Along with what the Rad valve looks like compared to it.

I knew 90% of the thing's I was going to run into , in this build. I was expecting it. And now that I have fixed everything ( except suspension , which goes to FC in a couple weeks ) this should be a pretty badass bike. It will be a perfect match for my 125. And after 35 years of racing and riding , this is the first time I have ever had a matching pair of bikes! I can't freakin' wait !

And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

OH!!.....forgot to mention , I hate needle bearings! Which just so happens to be what's in every dang linkage part on this bike. And with hardly no grease to begin with , they pretty much imploded on my as soon as I pulled the shaft out.

Good god! Why not put them in a race!!??

My 125 for reference. New number plate back grounds are here now , so I can fix this bike. Dorked it out with the one's in the pic.

That's one nice ride

Stunning!

I found that the throttle pull on these bikes are extremely heavy compared to the four strokes. If you’ve find the same thing, go for domino throttle setup. Probably the best mod I’ve done to mine.

It's about normal I think. Both my 125 and 250 are running PWK's , which really doesn't feel any different than the Mikuni's I pulled off of them.

I haven't had the chance to test it on this particular bike , but I do run Scalvini's on my TC 125 and my RM 250 , which both performed really , really well. I'll be taking this new 250 up and testing it out this weekend. I'm a big fan of the way these pipes ran on my other two bikes , I figured why not run the same setup on my new Husky as well.

Nice build!

I would be curious as to what jetting you end up with. I have the same bike, almost the same type mods. (PC, Vforce being the difference). Even have a STIC to shove in the carb once I get the jetting down.

Keep us updated, please!

A big thanks goes out to Donnie at Morgantown Powersports and RJ at Beaver Creek Cycles

Hey Wade , going to go try out mtn view Saturday. Unlimited practice day , so it'll give me some time to get this bike jetted right and get familiar with the bike. I'll be taking the 125 too and just plan on swapping back and forth. Wanna come down? If you think you may want to.......call mtn view and reserve your spot!

I've just had good luck with the FMF silencer's. I went with the standard length , as I'm not a big fan of shorty silencer's ( especially big outdoor tracks ). The black Husky version FMF looked good to me as well.....as I wasn't paying almost $400.00 for the Ti one! Haha.

Hey Kwenske......The RM has been in moth balls for quite some time , but my goal was to get my 125 dialed , then get a new 250 , and then get that dialed ( plan on doing a few races this year on them ) , and then......start tackling the RM project again. There we're a few little bumps in the road on that build that were holding me up a bit , and I got to the point where I was either going half-ass the build , or hold off and do it right. It's one of my next goals , to get that thing going again. I haven't given up on it , I just needed to take a break from it for a while.

See you on Saturday Jeff! Raced PIR tonight. The Lectron ran AMAZING on the '19 150SX. I on the other hand rode sub-par after being sick the past week. Just felt weak and out of sorts. Looking forward to meeting up. I'll hit you up on Saturday. Cheers brother!
