Looks mint! How does the sticker go sticking to the mesh? I've been thinking about getting one for my bike

It sticks well actually! But for safe measures, I applied clear rtv on the back just so it’ll last longer.

Maybe today I’ll officially start the story from the beginning since the weather is shitty.

So....here we go. It all started with this lil kx65 that I had gotten for free. It was pretty beat up and seen better days, so I freshened her up ALOT. In hopes that maybe my daughter would ride it one day. Here’s before & after pics.

So then I found this ad on Facebook of a guy wanting to trade a ‘97 kx250 for a 65 or 80. Luckily he wanted to make the deal. And that’s when I ended up with this fuckery lol

Oh the skull isn’t the best part. This kat painted the whole got damn bike with spray paint and then had a shitty powder coat job done to the frame in a school bus yellow. The front, rear fender, & shrouds were already black plastics, but he painted them black again. the WHITE number plates and fork guards were already white, but he painted them too. And the best part of all.......he paints the f*cking seat cover! Are you serious! I could see the purple showing through in a few spots. Who TF does that!!

I then proceeded to dissect this poor creature.

Got her powder coated as soon as I could. He matched the stock color damn near spot on. The swingarm was also beat to shit, so I had him PC it as well. Came out looking brand new.

Glad to see you treating her right after her abusive previous owner.

I honestly have no clue on what color he used for the swinge arm. I dropped it off and said “try to match the Oem silver, I trust you.” Boom. Looks like a new swinger now. I didn’t ask any questions after that lol

Couldn't even tell it was a Kawi at first.. is that Kiwi green or Kawi green mis-spelt? Wink First steps looking great!

Nope...it’s actually called Kiwi green. I brought a fender with me when I was picking out colors and that color matched perfectly.

And here we go.......slowly putting Humpty Dumpty back together again. Disregard the gold hub. I decided to go another route.

The airbox was a complete mess after I stripped off all the neon spray paint. My plan was to have it hydro dipped, but couldn’t find anyone in my area who could do it. So I took matters into my own hands. This was no easy task. But it came out looking pretty trick.
