SSR has an 800 watt 36volt bike.
Not sure how good it is.

Apparently Beta and Gas Gas now have little e-bikes too.

I just ordered an electric pitster pro to try out. only 44 lbs so i figured it would be a great light bike for the kids with no training wheels. Cheap enough at $325 +$100 shipping. 4mph/8mph/16mph settings on it.

And just my luck they are discontinued but atleast they gave my money back.

My parents’ neighbor races enduro/woods. I walked over to his house last Christmas when I was home. He’d gotten his daughter a GasGas and we watched her ride. They look pretty decent and it was quiet enough to not bother the neighbors or anything

He’s really tech savvy. If I remember right, he said he can program the bike to stop if she goes outside a certain distance. She struggled to pick the bike up after tipping but that’s not too unusual

I found the Oset 12.5 to be a bike small enough to teach a 2 year old on due to its low trials "seat". I just moved my son into a Mototec 36v 1000w Pro Lithium when he turned 5. Not the same quality as the Oset, but definitely better than I expected out of a $700 Chinese bike. Stand over height is high, and I ended up lifting forks about an inch in triple clamps. Also bought throttle and levers from Oset that fit small hands much better.

I have one of the gas gas bikes for sale new in San Diego. They are great little bikes I just have an extra. I bought 5 of them. 😳

Hello,

I design and build custom electric conversions per request, here's an example of a KTM 65 conversion. If you have any questions regarding electric dirtbikes or any of my projects just text or email me. Mark at MSC Engineering 602 752 0083, maxvonauto@aol.com, Instagram maxvonauto.

That's awesome 👍. Do you have anything similar to an Oset 20.0R? My son is due for an upgrade from his smaller Oset for back yard trials and general ripping around.

Hey there, Did you have to do any modification to get the Oset the throttle and brakes to work?

Thanks

The Oset throttle did not have the same wiring harness end as the Mototec, so I did have to splice on the Mototec connector, but it was simple. The brake levers are from Oset as well. I abandoned the throttle kill circuit from the stock brake levers. You can just unplug them from the controller. I have since swapped over from cable to hydraulic brakes on this bike.

I got the Oset parts from the dealer in Colorado.

Sorry, I do not at this time. However, if that's the type of bike (trials) you'd want all you'd need to do is provide me with any one of the gas equivalents (with or without motor) and I can convert it for you. Mark.

My nephew is 11 and not much of a MX kid ( more ball and sticks sports) but he’s hinting at wanting a Oset 20.0.

Idk much about them and never owned a trials bike but they are cool from what I’ve been watching.

Oset 20 is a great all purpose bike for a kid that age. You won't be disappointed. It can be ridden almost anywhere and will last him forever too. I'm 6'6" 260 lbs and I have a blast riding my neices around.

Trials is a great sport too. Definitely get yourself one and hit up a couple of events with the kid. Super fun and low key.

Ok so I made the purchase, Lithium powered 20.0.
He’s pumped on it and it sparked the interest of his sister at 14 years of age.
I’m
I’m Buying a Trials bike soon hopefully. That sport I can do in my yard, with lots of options with the lay of the land.
Thanks for the recommendation MM and Bike Pilot!

Trials is great, grab yourself one! Maybe grab an Oset 24 for the 14yr old as well. My 6yr old is on an Oset 20 now as well. TRS just took too long to get their bikes stateside. We grabbed a used 20.0 led acid bike and built it a killer battery pack running Samsung 40Ts in 14s6p.

The KTM E5 (so far) has been problem free. He has an OSET MX-10 before. It’s not a fair comparison between performance and quality, the KTM has it beat by far. I’m ready to see what Cobra’s E bike is like.

We bought the Kuberg Cross Hero from Kuberg California. Thing is sick. Worth every penny. Charges quick and holds charge (as my 8 year old is not on it wide open). Suspension is legit and comes with Millville's on the front and rear. Takes 8 weeks or so to receive with Corona though. Worth the wait.
