1987 KX 125, the bike is in great shape and runs great. It has many period correct performance parts, they include, original Pro Circuit pipe, Roost Boost, DMC power valve spacer, carbon reeds, UFO hand guards and an Ohlins shock. It also has many new parts, new tires, chain and sprockets, clutch plates and cable, brake pads, grips, handle bars, wide pegs, fenders, shroud, seat cover and foam, decals, and rebuilt forks. This is a low hour bike that runs great. I also have a parts bike that will go with it. $1800 obo. The bike is located in Southern Ohio. The bike now has green UFO handguards.

Darn! If that was an '88 model you would have a sale. I owned an '88 that I still regret selling to this day. Very nice bike though! I wish you luck with the sale.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I have a soft spot in my heart for the '88.

Wasn't there a lot of "one year only" stuff going on with the '87, making it really difficult to find parts for?

I haven't had to much trouble finding parts for it. It's much easier to find parts for than the KTM's I've been working on. I know there seems to be some pieces that are one year only parts (cylinder, exhaust, etc...) but there are a lot of parts that were used multiple years.
