It has an 02 mount kn it at the moment but you can switch to any newer mount and it will work for any year. Uses stock Honda pads.it may work other bikes if the pins line up. Your on your own with that though.

Would work on an 08 CRF450R with 280mm rotor adapter bracket?

Is it fully functional, no issues?
