Edited Date/Time 10/12/2018 2:58pm
Looking for a set of SHOWA forks that will fit a 2003 Honda cr 125.

Let me know what you have, I have a set of KYB that came off of the bike that I will be looking to off load as well.

Thanks!

I have a complete 2003 CR250 front end for sale, it was being used on my CR500 that was just sold.

Forks have been custom valved and sprung for a 160 pound rider on a CR500, fresh bushings, SKF seals, crosshatched fork legs, etc. Less than 3 tanks of gas since the forks were done.

I can separate the forks from the clamps, wheel, brake, etc. if you'd prefer. I can also have them sprung / valved for you.

I just got the bike home, but they aren't leaking, no nicks in the chrome, really good condition.

Feel free to make an offer if interested. If you need/want more photos let me know.

How much do you want for them? Looking at the pictures are those scratches or just dirt?

Matt, Do you have pictures of the forks? And what are you asking for them?

It's residue from a fork sticker. I don't know, make an offer. I don't know what they're worth. Haha

You said but they aren't leaking did you mean they are leaking?

If they are leaking will you do $175? If they are not leaking will you do $225?

I’m not wanting to mess up a sale, but those are the same exact forks that you already have. CR125 came with KYB, CR250 came with Showa. Those are not Showa Twin Chamber 47mm forks like you are looking for.

DJV can you take a picture of the bottom of the fork tube it should have Showa there.

They are as the man above said... Look at the top caps, they're the same as what's on your 2003, just in 04 they changed the finish on the top tubes to gold, then look at any showa top cap... All gen 3 cr125's came with 46mm kyb, all gen 3 cr250's and 02-08 crf's come with 47mm showas, you'll also need the tripple clamps from the cr250/crf to fit the larger diameter showas.

Okay thanks man, I appreciate it.

Just to add, from your position now, of needing forks and clamps.. You have the opportunity to grab whatever you want as you'll need to buy a new front plate anyway, so you could also go with 09-12 crf450 48mm kyb's and clamps, and if i'm not mistaken the 10-13 crf250 came with a 48mm showa... an if you're really flush the 17-19 crf450 comes with a 49mm showa... all the above are spring forks, the world is your oyster.

Nooe. They are not leaking. I'll check on the lug in a bit. I think he is correct though, the cap looks the same as my oem kx forks were.

Other thing is I will need to order the caliper kit for those as well correct as my current one will not line up correct?

Nope, all you'd need is the caliper bracket/carrier for the 02-13 stuff, the caliper is the same. Unsure on the 17-19 stuff though. just get a used oem bracket off an 05+cr/crf

I'm not entirely sure if it's the same on the 125, but when I was getting my crf a-kit forks fitted up to my kxf, the 04-14 bracket was the same, then the 15-18 was different from that, and now the 19 is different again.

That was for a crf-so I'm not sure that it's the same with the cr's as I'm pretty green on the Honda stuff, but if you call MotoStuff they've got every bit of info you'll need to get it done.

Here are a few that I had on my PC. If you need more detailed photos, let me know.
It looks like they will need for seals. I'm pretty sure that I have the guards for them too.
I will have to dig them up. Probably the front axle as well.
