I always wanted to do a 270 project bike like David Pingree, Jay Clark and other magazines do, so I did it! Here is your opportunity to have one done and all ready to go! 37 hours on this build. I am only selling it if I can get at least what I got into it, otherwise I'm keeping it, it is a joy to ride and to look at it!
Here's a link of a similar build.

https://racerxonline.com/2018/04/04/racer-x-films-garage-build-yamaha-y…

The build included a brand new bike, a big bore 270 kit from cylinder works, stage 2 hotcams, modified air intake, cycra powerflow full plastic kit, full get ignition system with traction control, map switches and Wi-Fi, full recluse torque Drive clutch with Hinson basket, full titanium FMF 4.1 system with carbon fiber heat shields, JGR full suspension components with carbon fiber wrap protectors, Pro Circuit lowering linkage, unbreakable levers, aftermarket wheels (black rims blue Hubs), seat cover, holeshot device, Etc. too many things to list.

if you are interested call me I'll give you all the details on it, 414- 520- 20 two oneThank you.

Please no silly comments or drama save them for yourself, if you don't like the price or disagree with anything on this post just move on, thank you!

No offense but you will never get over 5K for the bike. Has tusk wheels, no coatings on the suspension. You can buy full blown race bikes with the best of the best parts on it for under 10k

It’s another version of the #5 yz250f that some guy has been trying to sell since 2016.

Did you drag that clutch lever on the road for an hour before installing it?

We don't even know what year it is.. You left that out. Also, if you didn't want any back lash comments then you shouldn't have listed that silly price. You should make this thread a contact for price.

Nobody knows. He hasn’t answered the question in his Facebook ad either.

You have to give him credit on staying firm, he's had his other YZ250F for sale for at least 2 years without lowering price!

I'm just gonna say if I hadn't already bought a new bike. I would be intrested. With the amount of part and labor in the bike with under 10 hrs it's worth it more or less. I he could part it out and get most of what hes asking for it. Yeah 12k is the high side for this bike. But I've seen people buy used LL mod bikes for more here no less and i bet those a flogged more then this. 9500.00 and i bet this thing would be gone in a week.

No it wouldn't. More like 4500 and it may be gone in 2 weeks. This dude will be stuck with this bike forever if he believes he will get remotely even close to that asking price.

Bingo. The bikes that bring big money have legit a-kit suspension, high end clamps, high end wheel sets, titanium etc.

Not tusk, ebay specials, stock suspension, etc etc.

4500 is more accurate.

So what year is the bike again?
Based on 5 min of research(Google), it's no newer than 2018.

Vet Class Only.. and if you do the work yourself, you can easily build this for less.. especially if you search ebay for clutch basket and fibers seperately, and also Vortex and Cams, and 2nd injector..and JGR B Kit is a joke.. basically a good revalve will do the same thing.. which nobody on here will pay for a revalve thats setup for somebody else...

I also have the Neken Air SFS full triple clamps on my bike and still did it cheaper than this guy...

its a $5,500-6,000 bike for a vet rider, or a good practice bike for a young rider that has a full mod 250 to race..

Yeah vet only except there are a ton of guys running the 270 in the 250 class locally. You would be surprised how many people do it. Its cheaper then building a full mod and more reliable and looks stock. Worst case of cheating like this I ever saw was in 01 when the first 250f came out i caught a few people running their 426 in 125A
