As the title shows, this is my prediction for the final team outcome at the MXoN this year.

As a soldier, I hope I am wrong in a good way with a "good miss" and the USA finishes higher, we have a motivated team, though the others are just a motivated, playing on home turf (MXGP turf).

1. France
2. Belguim
3. Great Britain
4. United States of America

Thoughts?

Don't ask me why but I somehow think the Nederlands will win.
With the best US riders out, Herlings will likely go 1-1 or really close to it.

I won't make predictions for the rest of the podium because I just can't leave FRA, BEL or USA off the podium

Can't argue that. Our best hope is that the "anything can happen" ball bounces in our favor

I think that going into the final moto Switzerland will be in the top 3 in points. Then Tonus and Sweewer will take each other out in the 1st turn and be the ONLY guys on the deck....Blink

Matthes tweeted Ferrandis has a broken wrist but I think France still wins.

All I know is France and Belgium will be extremely strong. I think our boys will do fine with a little luck. Seen some of these things go completely sideways from weird shit happening.

I'll go for

1. FRA
2. BEL
3. NED
4. USA
5. GBR

But everything depends on the starts, the shape of the riders and a good portion of luck. These will be the top five teams anyway. It could turn either way around. Desalle and Van Horebeek need good starts and Lieber needs to stay on two wheels. Been crashing a bit too many lately. France is solid with or without Ferrandis, as is USA. Covington can be podium material in Open Class, but can DNF too. Netherlands has Herlings, but Bogers has been blowing hot and cold the last few races. GBR have a solid team aswell, but I don't know exactly what to expect. Anstie was dissapointing last year but that was an MX2-bike. Searle has to grow to his best form, but I don't know if he will pull it off. Wilson will be decent in top 10 I think.

Throw in Cairoli, Seewer, Bobryshev, Gajser and Jasikonis (if the two latter make the A-final) and Tonus if he gets fit. They can all "steal" important points from the top 5 countries.

How's Leiber?? He looked like he jacked his shoulder up pretty good...if he's out that will hurt Belgium.

Someone posted in the Uddevalla discussion thread that they'd spoken to him on Sunday night, and he was okay. He's a really lucky boy if he is though. I thought his collarbone was toast

Top 5 is pretty much the same for everybody. Much will depend on how MX2 riders perform and how much an absolute nuts crowd will help GB.

That would be amazing, but it sure didn't look good as he rode off the track...that was a big hit on his shoulder.
