If you’re keeping those graphics, yellow wheels with red hubs. I like blue hubs better, but you don’t have any other blue on your bike. It’s all gotta be cohesive to look good, IMO. Black wheels come stock on most new bikes, so pretty much EVERYbody has black wheels.

I know in the past I harp against the black wheel thing, but man, they look worn after the first time they get dirty. March to your own beat, but when I see a Suzuki with yellow wheels, no matter what is done with the hubs, it catches my eye as Factory! Love it. A Suzuki with black wheels doesn't even look like a Suzuki. Sweet bike by the way. I had an 03 until recently. Miss it, so fun, a broomstick with a motor!

Black with red hubs. No matter what choice, that thing is so damn beautiful.

Wait 90% of every bikes today have black rims. Does any mfr even sell new bikes with something other than black rims? Maybe Yamaha with the dark blue ones? but pretty much black rims are ubiquitous!

What about leaving the silver ones and investing in riding lessons? Black looks like crap on a couple of my bikes, but I'm not going to spend money to change it. For some reason I've never noticed the color of my rims while riding... But that's coming from a guy who doesn't even buy graphics.

I guess you’ve never ridden your bike hard enough to need to upgrade the rims and spokes after fucking them up

I'm sorry if my cheapness has offended you. I have purchased wheels over the years.

Gunmetal grey hubs. I know that’s not an option but it’s my preference. Not quite black.

Also- if you’re into better braking performance you can order the 2002+ front brake line kit and reroute it CR style.

If you scratch up black rims, you can just use a black marker to fix them up like new. Same with red, and blue to a point. But, trust me, there's no way of touching up the yellow rims.
In saying that, I do like yellow rims on RM's.

I had red carbon hubs with yellow rims and blue nipples. When the yellow rims got scratched up. I put some black ones on.

Thank you so much for sharing, after getting some input, but more what I needed was visuals, I have to say that gold with a finished hub is the way to go , I've had black wheels on a YZ in the past. Never have I had the chance to ever get yellow, gold, or have I ever had the extra money for them. The deal that they have going on at dubya USA is a good one. Yellow wheels it is !

I’ve always loved Suzuki’s with gold rims, but some blue accent color on the bike always added to the overall look in my opinion. Maybe the seat and some blue stipe stickers on the shroud.

And the black wheels look old after a few rides only.

call dubya usa, for black wheels I believe it was 600, it was a d.i.d dirt star wheel, what they have you do is tear down your wheel set, send in both of your stock hubs, they paint them , lace them up and ship them back to you. Was around 600 for black, 700 for the excel takasago wheel, I could be wrong, but I strongly think this is a good deal
