I know the 13 has a hour meter built in that displays the time in a code of blinks, does anyone know if the 12's have this as well?

" A brand new option for 2013 – riders can now easily track engine-operating time and better manage maintenance intervals using Suzuki’s optional FI indicator light (Part no. 36380-28H00)."

ps i ordered the chinese 13$ ebay one and it never showed...someone stole it out of my mailbox i think
"You need Suzuki’s optional fuel injection indicator light (P/N 36380-28H000) to access the codes (not to mention a quick eye to read the flashing light). There is an hour meter embedded in the ECU, but it also reports its time with flashing lights. Yes, you read that right. Thomas Alva Edison would be impressed, but most racers probably wouldn't be."
My friend has a 2012 YZF450, that he says has an hour meter built in, but you need the device to access it. I have no idea whether this is correct, though.
I usually put hour meters on my new bikes and I agree that built in meters are a good idea.
says it fits 10 - 13's i have a 12 and never saw anything about it in the manual, i guess it would take a ph call to yosh....
