Digger, I'm stoked to hear you're loving that Katoom. But, a guy your age shouldn't be hucking 120' triples......ahahaha. You know, the last time I owned a 125 we were on the line together. That was a little while ago.....
That's very interesting, I have a friend with a Husky and I"ll pass that info along. Though the fact that there are even more people searching for an already rare pipe isn't great news for me lol
That's got to sting a little for a guy in your position.

So I just went and slapped Ohlins on mine and boy, what a difference.
I also have some wheels, pegs, APT carb, etc and a few other parts on the way but family life has kept me from riding for weeks now.
I bought the Ohlins basically because what MX Tech wanted for their full fancy revalve (about $2.4K with shipping both ways) plus what I can sell my OEM suspension for (about $1.2K) was more than I paid for brand new Ohlins delivered to my house.
The good:
-amazing customer service and pricing from Dave @ Sport Bike Industries
-incredibly plush suspension, acceleration and braking chop just disappear
-just bolt it on and it was so close. I added one click of rebound to the shock and it was so good.
-the one day I rode on the Ohlins, I had no problem staying w/ a friend that usually smokes me. He had just finished 2nd in a Vet Pro race the week before which is faster than I can run.
-if you think rims make your bike look good, the trickness that Ohlins exudes is palatable
The bad:
-I WAY overjumped an obstacle and the bottoming resistance wasn't what I personally needed. It hurt!
-there was a recall on the forks because they had some fork lugs cracking. So I sent both ends back and they stiffened the valving up slightly and are installing the replacement lugs. The shock is already on it's way back, but the forks I'm not going to see until around the first of the year which just sucks.
