I haven't ridden mine yet! Honestly, I had no plan to even buy a new bike right now. But I fell into a good deal and figured what the heck.

This is the first new bike I've had since 2006. My other 450 is an 11 that I bought from a friend when he had like 10 hours on it and wanted to change to a KTM.

I did put an hour meter on it, and for anyone used to using the works connection brackets that fit on the front gas tank bolt --- those won't work on this model as there is not enough clearance from the bolt to the tank. I had to stick mine to the frame spar behind the shroud.

The new bike is so much thinner. The new shock looks like something off a factory bike. Looking forward to riding it, might take it to Red Bud in a week for the annual grass race weekend. We'll see.

Moose makes an hour meter mount that may work. Congrats on the new whip

You should give an update when you get a few hours on it. I loved my 14. I'm riding a 16 KTM 350 now that I like, but got to Fast Traxx last Sunday with KTM gremlins. Bike wouldn't start. No power with a fully charged battery. Doesn't make you feel good when you drive 2 hours for a race you really looked forward to and have no bike to ride. Angry

I'm Orange Brigade but I think the 18 RMZ is the best looking bike out there, stock wise. Looks clean, racey, edgy. Love the blue accents, black rims.

Hope those that have this beauty don't go crazy with different graphics. It's a sweet looking machine, no question. Congrats to all who grabbed one.

haha I got lots of stuff hiding around.

What you are spying with #9 on it is a 1982 RM80..

I still haven't ridden my 18 yet! Hoping to get the chance this week to break it in and then take it to Red Bud for the open practice and grass race weekend.

Someone has one at Hurricane Hills today. Really good looking bike. Those bright gold forks stand out and look like kit forks

Really enjoying mine so far. Big improvement over my 15. Feels light when riding it for being heavy but can't beat Suzuki quality and reliability

Hate to bring up an old thread, but. Wait, no i don't hate it at all because i finally got myself on the 18! Well, technically i havn't even started it yet but just sitting on it compared to my 16 back to back is such a different but yet similar feel. Crazy how narrow it feels and how modern it looks. Love it.

Anyways, being that the weather is as it is over here in the Nordics in December i might be in for a long wait before riding, unless i get a lucky weekend. So i've started out with the most important mods for performance, graphics, bars, levers. Gave my TI pegs away with my 16 before realizing they would fit so im keeping it simple doing small things throughout the winter, and hopefully have a load of stuff ready to go when spring rolls around.

Anyways, here she is. Thinking i'm in love.
From naked and new to all sticker'd up. Wanted to keep the stock-ish look but may have gone a bit over board, always hard when designing a bike you never seen before in person. Next graphics kit is probably gonna get toned down a bit. We'll see. We've got all winter.

Finally sold my YZ this past week, two days later went and got new RMZ.

Rode it for about hour Saturday afternoon taking it easy then rode Sunday about 2 hours on a mild mx track with sweet corners.

Took while to get used to a bike that skinny and light feeling again but holy shit I love this thing, Sent suspension out yesterday because I am way too heavy to get far with stock springs and valving but on a track with small jumps it was ok, sag just way off.

People ragging on this thing all the time are idiots, I rode a 18 Yamaha and no way I would pick that thing over the RMZ, only thing Yamaha has is electric start and pulls harder mid and top.

Super looking forward to getting suspension back and putting little taller bars and grips on it.

I will do more stuff to it in the spring, get a pipe and misc shit.

Heres a photo of me ripping a sweet rut on her, lol.

That is gorgeous. Man I didn’t like the look of these when they first came out, but they are def growing on me. Glad too cause I have always been a Suzuki guy.

Man, i would love to try one. Too bad that the Suzuki dealers in Finland are absolutely horrible when it comes to MX bikes. I don't think there is any demo days in the whole country. So the only way i would get to try one is if someone i know buy one and i don't think that anyone i know will.

Such a good looking bike.

Exhaust does not swap over.

I have however gotten the new FMF to put on the bike....I also weighed them and the FMF is nearly 3.5 lbs lighter than the stock unit.
