Apparently at Ironman it was 6,000. In my opinion there was more people there than that so who really knows if it’s a hard limit

Bring your snow pants and bomber hats, it's going to be a cold one! If so I would expect the guys who grew up further north to be favorites.

It could be sunny and 80 or snow and 30. Or both. But typically early Oct is mild in the 60's/low 70's. This week was the earliest snow since 1962.

But it is 2020

Yup, and it will be in the low 80's this weekend, and mid to upper 80's next week. It's Colorado, it could be 80's. or 30's on race day. you just never know. My guess would be mid 70's and pleasant, but we will see.

I’ll be there. My first pro race since 2001 Anaheim 1 and first national since Red Bud 95. Pumped.

Funny you say that
I live in the socal mountains and when the tracks get cool weather (60-65) most people are wearing sweat jackets or something when ride and I’m raring to go sleeves up and shorts in the pits 🤣

Great to see them mandating masks, social distancing and no ezups. They clearly care about the health of the spectators and the sport.

Colorado is my fav place to watch a national, especially up on the hill or by the first turn tower.

From the ticket purchase page:

Face covering is required. Bring your own mask. Besides, it’s cool to be covered! .

This is just stupid, PC mandated bullshit. Idiotic to force someone to wear a stupid ass mask when standing outside 50 yards away from another human being. I wouldn't go if it were free as I refuse to "JUST OBEY" what the PC police mandate. Better viewing on NBC Gold Pass anyway.

I bet the same idiots who came up with this one are the same as those that forbid calling the 10 Commandments the 10 Commandments.

LOOK MAN, they have to give that preach so as to follow guidelines from our Governor.

Not all can follow that while eating/Drinking so what Ya think their gonna do? Run each and every person not wearing a mask out of there? Get a grip

I don't agree that we need masks outdoors but how about you simply don't go? Let those who want to attend and are willing to follow the rules do so. It's simple.

That’s just the number I heard. Don’t know how accurate it was but I definitely thought there were more than that too

That mask rule lasts about 10 feet past the gate. You basically have to wear it to get in the gate and after that 95% of the people weren’t wearing masks. There’s no way they can enforce it

Dinosaur ridge near the track is great for 5$. Red rocks, Boulder tourist shop area is very popular. Denver zoo was very impressive. There is snow 365 days a year up one of the roads by the ski resorts on way to Breckenridge. Watched Savatchy give a lesson to some friends and faceplate scorpion style first thing so hard on a snowboard one year after a race there. Diego Pellicer is king. We always rent this one house in Golden and then spend the last days in a cabin in Silvertone near Breckenridge. Place is beautiful.

They have to put that in there to please the health department. This shit aint hard.

I'll be there and will wear my mask the entire time if I am around anyone because I am not a delicate flower that gets bothered by wearing a mask and I am not an asshole...most of the time.

I'm native to Colorado.

- Red Rocks no brainer..
- Breckenridge probably the best all around great mountain town and drive to check out high country. (Food - Canteen or Robbies Tavern (free ride up the gondola to Robbies))
- If you like beer we have a ton of great breweries nearby. My favorites nearby.. New Terrain, Over Yonder.
- Downtown Golden (check out Clear Creek path near downtown) and Pearl Street Mall Boulder good day trips (Shop/Food).
- We do have decent casinos and an amazing drive up the Clear Creek canyon. Ameristar most popular. Table games oepn.
- Idaho Springs (Tommy Knockers Brewery -or- Buejos Mtn Pies (Pizza) and then tour either Phoenix Mine or Argo Mine in town)
- Can rent assist e-bike and ride some of the foothill trails. Rent/Demo from https://www.rhythm-cycles.com/
- Downtown Denver Aquarium has always been impressive.
