MC, you are the man! I love this shit - 90's were are great era.

I used to love Matiasevich. I had a 90' KX250 with the camel stickers on the forks and everything. I've never understood why this guy gets no love because his style was awesome and he made the racing exciting. I'm sure he had some haters because he took out a ton of people but so did other guys. Maybe as a person he wasn't the best guy, who knows? Or cares.

Any good Larry Ward pics?

MCfan, do you remember that cool ad in MXA in the early 90's when Matiasevich and Ward switched to Taichi gear and Alpinestar boots? A-Stars signed up a pile of guys like Stanton, Bayle etc. and put in about 6 straight pages of them in their gear with their new boots.

I thought that was super cool.

Yep 89...
1990 Suzukis didn't have right side up forks.
1990 was the first year they (Suzuki) went to upside down forks.

Who is #22 ? Ty Davis?
And is 360 on the Kawi Denny?
And is #8 Ronnie T?

Haven't a clue who 102 is.....maybe Buddy A?

Must have been an add for the 1990 race. Here's a better pic of Cooper.

This is from a SX in 89 from The Meadow lands.

90's really were the best era. The bikes got better, the gear was awesome, and the sport starting growing into what it now is. The latter was mostly because of MC. Funny how a one man domination can make the sport grow so much. Usually it would have to be the opposite. Awesome thread. HOF?
