I don't understand the track maintenance between moto 1 and 2. Seems like two things in play that lead to it making more sense between moto 2 and 3.

1) As it is currently...Fresh track after practice followed by 14 minutes plus 2 laps on the track for moto 1. Fresh track after moto 1 followed by 49 minutes plus 4 laps on the track for moto 2 and 3. If they prepped after moto 2, it'd be 36 minutes plus 4, then a fresh track for the final 37 minutes plus 2. Much more even spacing and therefore safer.

2) They have the KTM junior race after moto 1 and nothing after moto 2. 52 minutes for the 250 class between moto 1 and 2 while only 45 minutes between 2 and 3. Why not utilize the downtime to work on the track and give the guys a bit more rest before the longest and most important (tie breaker) moto?
