AER48 Rebuild Time Who should I use?

Time to rebuild the forks (and shock) on my FC350. 72 hrs and now wintertime. I have been very happy with the stock suspension up to this point, but it's time to rebuild and mind as well give someone a shot at a revalve. I am in Georgia, so leaning toward FC or A1 Suspension (Racetech guys)

Anyone have any other thoughts or things to offer about either of the companies I have mentioned. I dont want to do a spring conversion, and I have been happy. I am sure I can get some more comfort. 45+ Vet 175 lbs and faster than most, slower than many. I am more of a jumper than most guys my age and typically run my forks a bit stiffer than most as I prefer to keep the front end higher in the stroke.

Check out Kreft or MX Tech. Both have AER options that will do what you want, Kreft especially. MX Tech Lucky system is good too for conversion.

I dropped the Race Tech air to spring conversion cartridge in. New oil and spring. Kept the valving. I’m very happy with it, no complaints.

Just do it yourself... put in some MX tech parts if you so desire.
It's not hard to do.... Good vid's on youtube to walk you though it.

Either one that's local. I like to be able to talk people I'm dealing with in regards to what you want or don't want your suspension to do, plus if your suspension needs to go back you aren't waiting for shipping and risking losing your stuff or having it damaged in shipping.

AER48 is probably one of the easiest forks to work on. Go with RaceTech Gold Valves and DIY and save a ton of cash.

I have done my own in the past, but i am tight for time the next couple months. Full time grad school and work plus 2 kids. Just want to send then off and get them back. I have 2 125s sitting in my shop waiting to be built when i finally do have time

It’ll take you longer to pack and ship than to rebuild. YouTube has a couple of detailed tutorials.

FC charges a premium to service AER stuff. Once you pull them apart you will realize they are some of the simplest forks in existence. I believe FC is price gouging a wee bit with them, probably because of their popularity.

Like you I was pretty happy with the stock setup but had a few things I thought could be better.

Kreft, I've been really impressed with what they did. The setup they sent back wasn't even in the same area code as stock. But man it works good!

I did the revalve, 2017/2016.5 component upgrade kit and micro finish on the shock shaft / fork tubes.
