What's up with Alias charging almost $16 just to ship a pair of goggle? Is that how they get people? Offer good looking prices on their merchandise but then charge an arm and a leg for shipping and "handling."

I guess if you wanted the free shipping you could buy the Omen sets direct from Spy and pay $71 per set instead of the $20 per set you are paying from ALIAS. (Or you could buy three sets from Alias!) Those bastards.. (sarcasm).

It angers me when companies charge amounts like that through shipping. Just charge the damn $30 for the goggles then charge $5 shipping like everyone else in the world. Don't try to rope me in by advertising lower prices then over charging for shipping.

They offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount. I'm sure their sales strategy is to market the goggles at a low price making it an easy add on purchase to compliment their primary product which you'd either be paying for shipping or getting it free anyways. An order of just one set of goggles for them is probably rare.

My company ships between 35-50 packages a day. My UPS charge to ship a 1 pound package within 500 miles of the office is $15.00

You are shipping across the county. CA to PA is about as far away as your can get. Fedex/UPS rates have constantly gone up. You cannot blame Alias for that.

i think the same thing when I ship a 2lb package across town for work and it cost $15, hell I am a trucking dispatcher and have seen all trucking go through the roof in last 10years.

like what was said previously, buy 3 pairs with shipping your only a couple bucks more that buying 1 from spy.

I don't know about you peeps but the gear I have seen coming out, from a design stand point, I do not care to buy. Not picking on ALIAS, it's everybody else too. Maybe I am getting old, but still fashion conscious!

I did purchase a set of ALIAS gear a couple months ago, Red, white & blue set. Last years stuff. I liked them...

Call me old fashioned, but I still dig the JT All white set that Baily & the O Show used to wear. I also liked the AXO stuff. Still have several sets. Too bad I gained weight! Bring the retro stuff back, please....

Everybody wants free shipping. UPS is 90% privately held, and flush with cash. Shipping isn't cheap, anybody that thinks so, is welcome to pay my weekly UPS bill.

I ship around 20-30 packages per week from my shop, thankfully I have more than one option within 2 miles from the door. UPS delivery completely sucks here. My shop is open from 9-5, and you never, ever, know when they are gonna show up. I’ve given up at 6pm and gone home waiting on parts to arrive, then find a notice on my door the next morning..... or they’ll just be 2 days late. I have zero faith in UPS.
