In this day and age.... yup... I can see it......
but as a racer, especially with the talents of El hombre, sh!t, I would be biting at the bit to take that FAT check home....

Dude put in alot of work to represent the US in Assen, seems he's felling a little crispy from it. (posted yesterday)
No point risking all in a meaningless, irrelevant off-season race. Better to save yourself for preparing for the only thing that matters in this sport..
* "meaningless" when you're already a Millionaire with a secure job.
The above may be fact or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting. I am not sure, you have no chance.

I agree. He just finished one of those.
Imagine if MEC was the first week in December, after Thanksgiving? Better warmup for SX, plus the MXoN guys get to rest a bit and get on SX for a while. The October date for MEC sucks.

Absolutely. This race means nothing. Too much risk, too little reward.
(sarcasm detector recalibration may be required for some Vitards)
Considering how the event is run ( with Amatuers racing also) it isn't a great tuneup for SX. Just a chance to get injured.

Only, seemingly it wasn't so 'meaningless' with the amount of attention it got on this board..

I guess c webb, kroc missed the memo . Red bull.event. lol.
Its ok for anderson to choose to miss one of two big off season races but eli gets flack for choosing the one hes actually contractually obligated to race.
Okie dokie then
Let him skip the SX also and race the Gp's in 2020 that would be great.
A little firework from El Hombre and team fried would be a welcome in the Gp's.

Agreed. It's subjective and a matter of personal opinion.
I knew immediately when he dropped out of RBSR that he was going to miss MEC.
Bummed, but absolutely proud to have him at MXoN.
Get yourself ready for A1!

I was fast... But being fast is relative to who else is on the track with you.

Dude deserves a rest if he thinks it is best for him. He showed a lot of heart working so hard for the MXDN.
Don't care, still a fan after the MXdN Prep videos! Enjoy your break, and thanks for representing US!
Shiiiiiit.
I think he should take a nap...
Maybe order a Pizza...
Doesn't really matter.
I ripped a start from Egypt and I was happy about that.

Off topic but what brand of speakers are those? I've been thinking about getting some new ones. Mine are old and shot.
Pioneer HPM 150’s (not mine). But these were high end audio speakers from the late 1970’s. 15” woofers would really move the air. I lusted after them when I was younger after listening to some but couldn’t afford them then. They can still be found used but some of have had woofer replacements that probably are not near the quality of the originals. There’s probably better newer designs these days anyway but these were the shitz back in the day if you had the power to drive them.

Can't blame him. Dude needs some rest if he wants to come back fresh for SX 2020 and try to win the championship again.
