Congrats to Gajser! Tim just won his 3rd world title and 2 MXGP title. Are we In the era of Gajser now? The KTM boys seem to dominate the headlines but it’s Tim who just won his third title in five years. AC has three titles in his last seven, and Herlings has three in his last seven years as well. He’s younger than Herlings and has been IMO the most underrated motocross rider in the world. Perhaps now people will start to give him the respect that his results demand.

Took the title in typical fashion with another crazy eject early in the moto! Woohoo

Gajser has been really solid this year. Congrats

good to see Honda back on top and Tim back on top spot ... he had some difficult years after his first title but he looks to be like the old Tim .. well deserved title ...

Good job! Awesome season for him.
Next year he's going to be up against maybe the strongest team ever: Herlings, Cairoli and Prado - all together on one team!

Why is he the most underrated? Every title he won was with the fastest rider(s) injured, en when they were not he can not beat them...wait and see next year...

You gotta be there to win it. Gajser beat straight up AC222 before he injured himself. This title was well earned, I'm Happy for Tiga!

Nah
Only 2015 he wasn't the best (Herlings was, before taking himself out).
2016 he came out in Quatar and went 1-1 and beat everyone on the line with ease, including Cairoli and 2015 champ Febvre.

2017 Gajser was winning the title before getting injured after round 7 or so.

Last year he came into the year injured from his crash at Mantova.

This year he beat everyone on the line. Well Herlings might have beaten him, but he didn't line up.

You might as well say that Cairoli and Herlings only won the last 2 titles because Gajser was injured.

I agree with this, he earned it, but my opinion is about the statement he is underrated... he's not...and we will see what he have for herlings, cairoli and maybe prado next year...btw last year herlings had 933 pnts and missed 1 GPWink

This argument is so played out. Herlings is super fast we know but he breaks a bone getting his mail in the morning. So all championships should be called off every yr Herlings or some other fast guy gets hurt until they can race again? It was weak when they said it about Dungey Reed and its weak now. Maybe *insert super fast rider name* isn't all that because he can't stay on the bike? Durability and riding within ones limits counts towards the legacy the greats leave

You could say they won when he was hurt. Honda gave him a new frame and ended the Red Curse.

Gajser keeps banking titles while catching few of the headlines. And he is blazing fast. He’s always been my favorite MXGP racer.

You all can keep talking shit about my opinion..but it was park boys who started a thread about TG getting world champion. But also has to mention Herlings, so what do you expect? The facts are that TG never has beaten a 100% Herlings, never. But i like Tim Gasjer en he deserve this more then anyone because he stayed healthy. And i hope for some good racing in MXGP between the fastest guys and i think that's between JH84, AC222, TG243 en maybe JP61....and no, no RF461...

Has Herlings ever beat a 100% Gajser on the 450? No.

You see the problem with that argument? Lets hope they both are healthy in 2020 because none of them has been healthy on a 450 on the same time.

Be nice to see him come ride some outdoors here in the states. Not saying he would or wouldn’t win. Just be a chance to see another MX great race. Great riding style. Has become a good ambassador for Honda and Fox! Doesn’t seem to get enough credit.

Imo a healthy comfortable Gajser can give anyone a run for their money.
