Picked up a 12.5 KTM Factory Edition. Very good condition but plastic needs a little love to make it shine. Age old question, I know, but any new or good old products for bringing it to life?
Thanks.
Thanks.
The Shop
303 Aerospace protectant.
Plus 1 on SC1, works very well
As always, much appreciated.
Any good soap and water combo works well. Hit your bike with water, scrub it down with a soapy brush, repeat on those stubborn stains and then rinse. Power washer is helpful.
Some people use scotch brite on aluminum frames to remove boot scuffs/ black marks. Magic erasers are another tool to remove scuffs/ black marks especially on plastics.
Once she's clean...finish it off with some SC1 and inhale deeply.
Disclaimer: There isn't a "right" way to clean a bike. Everyone has their own technique. Just protect your air filter and plug your exhaust and you should be fine.
Pit Row
Honda makes a spray cleaner and polish, works really well. Thicker than the SC1 and works way better without the super shiny look.
