Gotta agree. Pretty solid team & given the competition this year, wouldn't surprise me to see them on the podium.

Podium is all on Gibbs if the other two ride to their potential... Kirk is capable but hasn't shown it like Dean and Hunter.

Stop it. Belgium still have 2 exceptional 450 riders. Lawrence is better than Van Donninck but they were 9th and 10th in the MX2 championship so they are not too far apart. Belgium should still challenge for the podium.

I don't really know too much about Kirk Gibbs, but I'm expecting him to be fast, like Ferris and Waters were last year. If they all ride to their potential then a top 5 is definitely a realistic possibility

I didn't say they wouldn't challenge for the podium but the Aussies can beat them.

And Lawrence is quite a bit ahead of van Doninck. He missed two GPs and still beat him by about 100 points

Van Doninck also had his fair share of no scores to be fair. We've seen before that the Australians are capable of surprising at this event, but when you look at the team list, I think 5th is a realistic target, but any higher than that will be really difficult. In my opinion there are 8 teams that you could look at on paper and say that they'll definitely be in the top 5. 3 of them have to miss out. I'd more than happy for them to prove me wrong, I'm a fan of both Ferris and Lawrence and I'd like to see them to do well

Lawrence is use to bad starts. He will be tearing through the pack like osbourne. Hopefully suzuki give him js91's bike. Top 5 team for sure

Lawrence is one of the top MX2 riders now, Ferris is proven, Gibbs is MX only now so he'll be up there.
Come to think of it I might buy the package to watch us podium
We will beat the USA let alone about Belgium!

Lawrence was pretty hot in the last 3-4 rounds. He beat Jonass and Seewer straight up in the last 2 races.

why are you putting Covington with the 250's, hes on a 450,

i say Osborne has Hunter, Covington has Gibbs, and if Ferris rides well he can beat Seely,

I'd be disappointed if AUS didn't get a top 5.. I think they've got a strong shot at top 3.

I think Osborne and Hunter will be even. Hunter has help being over there and racing into red hot form.
Gibbs and Covington will be interesting. I think Gibbs will be banking a lot on this race.
Ferris will battle for wins

I think lawrence should be safe for top 10 finishes
ferris should be fighting for top 3's
Gibbs should be shoukd for 5-8place finishes

I think anything worse than 5th is a dissapointment, But as we know des nations can get crazy
9/27/2017 12:12pm
If Ferris and Lawrence ride like they can at the moment, top 3 results for these guys. Then Aus just needs only one solid ride from Gibbs to make a podium. Rain will help. Those are all "if's" and if's don't win races and the biggest obstacle Aus has to beat is bad luck. This race has notorious bad luck for Australia. But fuck it, I'm calling a podium with a best ever 2nd place. We all need high goals to shoot for right.

Gibbs top 10 will be a big call, i see him more 10-15, i think Ferris will be more 5-8, if it is muddy, the 250F might struggle, i think if Lawerence can get one top 10 then he would have done his job ,

He has, but good starts have been a rarity for him this year and he can't afford to have bad starts this weekend. They definitely have reason to be optimistic. There's not a lot if pressure on them and they're all very capable. Good luck to them

Exactly this!! ^^^ Aus has a great , strong team this year. With good starts , I wouldn't doubt for a second to see those guys run at the front and keep it there.

Follow their Instagram and Lawrence had it because he was looking at the camera. Almost identical, I had to check helmets to tell.
Can we call Hunter Lawrence H-Law?
