Dude riding with a bruised tailbone. That's gonna be rough.

I don't think anyone ever doubted Justin's toughness.... My ass hurts just thinking about riding with a bruised tail bone...

Just putting it inside or around the Top 10 could potentially be a championship salvaging ride..

Safe to say he runs a softer seat foam this week??

Lmao. I was thinking softfoam seat and like...i dunno... Diapers for padding?

But yea, if he keeps it in the top 10 I'll be impressed for sure. He's only 7 points down right now, so 1 or 2 races at not a 100% and still getting points will be clutch. Gonna be interesting.

"Depends.". (Pun intended) how he feels throughout qualifying practice I'd imagine.

Big respect for him giving it a shot. That shit hurts. I hope he makes it through qualifying and the night show.

Tailbone pad and a big shot of some kind of numbing agent, hopefully good enough to get through the night.

Anyone ever wear cycling shorts under your moto gear? I've been getting in the habit of doing that since getting my 18 Yamaha 450 that has a slice of white bread for seat foam.

I have been doing that for years, some moto companies sell similar shorts. Wouldn't ride without them now.

Gotta go for it if you can! Would be awesome if Barcia got it done this season. No one has stepped up as the best yet through three races. I think he'd be a great champ, not to mention good for marketing the sport with his backstory and all. On a backward Yamaha no less! Bam bam ftw

Forgive me for not knowing, but what’s his backstory? I am a Barcia fan but can’t recall his upbringing

I like Barcia, but he should be wearing his Sponsors Clothes, maybe he was.

The Bionic Freeride Shorts that I have would have reduced the impact.

For average Joe this is a dumb move. Blood circulation to the coccyx is very low. Much like the collarbone, ot is considered a "dead bone". Therefore healing takes a long time. Many believe the coccyx to be the formation of what was once our "tail". I had a bruised coccyx that took 6 months to heal because I kept riding.

He retired because his setup was too far off, and I'm not talking about his bike or being in Europe alone. It seemed serious but he's since found a good baseline and has become the champion of retired champions.

What was his new "title" again? It was pretty good.

This. My son doesn't ride without his, they're Troy Lee I believe. Some of the best and cheapest safety to invest in I think.

I can’t even imagine. I severely bruised my tail bone back in October and I’m just now feeling good enough to ride normal. I still have a numb area the size of a fist right above my ass crack, don’t know if I’ll ever get feeling back or not.

Man....how the hell? I bruised and chipped the end of my tailbone about 1.5 years ago , and damn it , it took like three months to just sit right on the couch. Riding over the next couple months it hurt like hell too. Justin riding one week after?? No wonder these top guy's make good money .

100% attack mode, on the balls of his feet. Boys never gonna sit down. Might unlock a whole new generation of “never sit down, ever” racers.

Remember when your dad took your seat off when you were a kid and you thought he was a prick? He was just preparing you for this moment that Barcia is facing now.
