Best bike for bigger body's?

Hey fellas,

Looking for some input on the current line of 450's that are better suited to bigger dudes in stock form?

I do read the shoot outs but havent seen anything pertaining so much to this and hoping some other vital weekend warriors could give some input?

I am 6'2 and 235lbs

Currently ride a 2015 CRF and feeling a bit crammed

Cheers in advance

Kawi

Yamaha

But wait for the Vital offensive line to chime in. These kind of threads always bring out the 6’6” 285lb Internet mx riders.

KTM is the bike of choice for everyone. Those who buy something else want to finish last.

Yamaha and Kawasaki for tall dudes for sure! 6'5 230 here and I ride a YZ450 with lowered Fastway pegs as my only ergonomic mods. Kawasaki is very similar as well. I've tried the 18 Honda and KTM and they are so much smaller and cramped they are nearly unrideable for me.

You could always try an 8" thick seat

They're all about the same tbh. I'm 193cm and 91kg and ride a 125. It really feels fuck all different to any of the 450s I've owned.

Awesome man thankyou.
Are the YZ pegs moveable like the KX?
I had a 14 KX and it felt a whole lot better than my current 15 CRF..Thing is making me hate riding not to mention the forks.
Now about those blue rims...

If the 2018 Zook had E-Start at its current weight, I'd buy one tomorrow. I love how they turn and their overall feel, super comfortable. Just personal preference, but it works really well for me and they are very reliable. I tried a KTM and felt like a fish out of water.

The previous generation of Kawasaki 450 is by far the best for tall riders. The current Kawasaki, not so much. I just got off a 2013 Kawi 450 and upgraded to a 2017 Honda. After ditching the stock handlebars for a Pro Taper bar with less sweep and turning the bar clamps around, I’m perfectly comfy on my new ride. I hated the 2009-2016 Hondas, but the new one is great. I’m 6’4” and race moto.
No matter what you get, if your feet are big like mine (size 14 Astars), invest in a Hammerhead +10 or +20mm shift lever. Makes life a whole lot easier.

Same deal here. Had the 12 Kawi 14 Suzuki 16 Kawi and now 17 Honda.
I’m 6’4” and love the fit with Mika MC bend
Never liked my Kawi with pegs in the lower position
Felt like they moved forward a bit too when you do that.

I'm 6'0 & was about 240lbs!

I ride a 14' KTM 450, one of my racing partners is about 6'3.

He just got a 17' KTM 450Fe & put handle bar risers on it, don't know what he did for the seat.

Find a bike that fits you riding style & has a powerband that you like & you can get all the accessories to make it fit you
