Best outdoor tracks for spectators

Budds, Unadilla and High Point are all spectator friendly.

Thunder valley has great viewing and some of the greatest national parks not far away

Millville is sweet but the viewing isn't that awesome and it's remote near the track, although Rochester is about 30 minutes away. Thunder Valley has good viewing and is basically in the Denver suburbs. Everything you'd need is 5 minutes away.

Steel City.. oh wait.. disregard.

Budds Creek. Or go to Red Bud and spend the extra coin on the infield bleachers, top row.
For Red Bud, plenty of hotels available within a 20 minute drive or less in Niles or South Bend.

Not the best spectator track as far as seeing all of the track from one place but everything just looks so awesome.... like a golf course.... and spectators there are always interesting if she is into shooting people.....

Not being able to see the whole track from one place isn't a deal breaker as long as there are several different spots I can use that will give me a view of a few of the tracks features at once. Meaning from one spot I can see at least a few jumps and a couple of good turns. Having a few good spots like that are actually preferable to seeing the whole track at once so that I can get different viewpoints and angles. And I love shooting the people as well as the motos. The community that surrounds the sport is amazing.

Redbud is a great race but the 20 somethings are super drunk and it is the best attended race so it is hard to get a place on the fence

I'm glad I went to Washougal this year, but the spectating is pretty bad. There are way too many trees!

Millville has a great view of 90% of the track but only if you purchase a VIP pass which allows you up on the main spectator hill. While it does cost more, it makes up for it with free food/drink all day and access to the air conditioned building with TV's broadcasting the race. Otherwise you basically get to see a couple sections up close and one odd section in a distance. Or you can hike over to the whoops and only see that section. (Great to do during practice!)

As far as the track itself goes, many will say it's the best on the circuit. Although the down fall is it is kind of secluded. Very pretty and great locals, though.

Red Bud has great viewing, but at a price as well. It's a wild time if you're into high energy and booze but I could see some locals being annoying to someone just trying to mind their own business.

I've had loads of fun at both!

Ironman is another one close to me. Great track and facility but the viewing isn't spectacular for the fans and unfortunately being the last race of the season, the energy isn't always the same as others.

Miller Moto Park

Having been to southwick, washougal, budds, hangtown, and glen helen. Budds was good but I thought glen helen was good too.

Glen Helen has great spectating. You can walk to almost every section of track in a short time.

Socal moto scene + race at Glen Helen is the only part of USA i've seen, but damn Glen Helen is impressive to see with your own eyes! These hills are insane!

*Also good viewing, i was in the bottom area and you could see the riders pretty much everywhere going up and down the mountain!

Only been to Budds Creek and High Point but Budds wins by a mile for visibility. Actually felt I could roam around the place without missing too much of the action; almost anywhere you stand you can get a great view/photo op. The hills really help with giving you a good vantage point to see more of the track at one time.

Red Bud for all the right reasons. The energy there will compensate for anything it lacks. And there will be MANY photo opps
