I think the seller is on crack at that price, but very neat to see floating around!

It is still in the crate as it and it's twin sister, the Suzuki RM, were POS's and like Cygnus stated, they did not get any better collecting dust.

If I had $15,000.00 to piss away, it certainly would not be on that bike.

It will be worth $15K....someday, but not today. Don't underestimate the people out there, with money, who just GOTTA have something nobody else has.

KX250 2 stroke and RM250 2 stroke were totally different in 2004. The only MX bike shared between Suzuki and Kawasaki in 2004 was the 250f.

The last generation of RM250 (03-08) was AMAZING. The 04 RM250 is a fantastic bike.

Pure comedy gold right there, gentlemen.

That was the first and last collaboration between Kawi and Suzuki. Bad idea.

I thought from memory the 04 kx250 wasn't too bad, and not identical to the rm250. You sure your not thinking of the 250F that Suzuki and Kawasaki shared? They were valve eating turds

I remember there were some pretty pimpin kx250's rolling around, but to relive that for 15k? Sheesh

You have no idea what you're talking about pal. The kx250 and RM250 were NEVER a collaboration between the two manufacturers.

Btw, with those swing arm decals, I make that an 'M1' 2003 model, not a 2004. I had a 2004 and it was a great bike! Kawasaki built an all new engine for the 2005 onwards models, based on Bubba's R&D.

the KX250f and RMZ250 were the collaboration along with the DRZ/KLX 110, 125. I don't remember any 2 stroke MX collaboration.

The 03-05? RM 65's and 100's were the 2 stroke collaboration with Kawi so Suzuki didn't have to make their own

My Bad. I thought it was the four stroke, which was a shared model.

As far as I'm concerned, it can remain in its crate forever...

What's really funny is KMC was giving dealers a free 2003 KX 250 when a certain volume KX model order was placed.

I had a 2004 KX 250 one of my favorite all time bikes. I would love to have one new in the crate maybe $ 5000 but $ 15'000 is crazy.

Might be worth it if there were six of them in the crate.
