This week the series makes the short 2 hour drive over to Riverglade MX Park in Moncton, New Brunswick for the second of two stops in The Maritimes. The Riverglade track is fast, hard packed with rich red soil that provides good traction. The corners develop inside and outside ruts that provide great passing opportunities but due to the clumpy nature of the dirt it sometimes tends to throw riders off their line as they set up for a turn.

10- Nathan Bles(CAN) HON 195 pts.
MX2/250
1- Shawn Maffenbeier (CAN) YAM 328 pts.
2- Josh Osby (USA) KTM 307 pts.
3- Ryan Surratt (USA) KAW 300 pts.
4- Cole Thompson (CAN) KTM 298 pts.
5- Dylan Wright (CAN) HON 295 pts.
6- Jacob Hayes (USA) KAW 236 pts.
7- Casey Keast (CAN) YAM 229 pts.
8- Davey Fraser (CAN) HSQ 213 pts.
9- Jess Pettis (CAN) YAM 205 pts.
10- Hayden Halstead (CAN) YAM 204 pts.
With Cole Thompson and Josh Osby now both out of the series with injuries Shawn Maffenbeier comes into round 8 of the series with a 21 point lead over Osby in the MX2/250 class. With Osby out of the series the next closest in points is Ryan Surratt trailing by 28 points. Barring injury or a mechanical it appears that Maffenbeier can now put it on cruise control for the rest of the series and collect his first MX2/250 title for himself and the MX101 Yamaha Team. In the MX1/450 class with last weekend's dilemma where Christopher Pourcel got docked a few positions, Matt Goerke now enters round 8 with a 19 point lead over Pourcel. With 3 rounds to go in the series it will be tough for Pourcel to chip away at the points lead with the way Matt Goerke has been riding this season. At this point things are looking good for Goerke to grab his 3rd MX1/450 national championship.
Weather: Mainly sunny with a high of 24°C/75°F.
