What colors are you guys using? I’ve done a bunch of cerakote but haven’t done the mag-look color for hubs and cases.

What is the purpose/benefit of the Cerakote?
Purpose? Nothing really.....just looks super sweet!

I had my master cylinders , calipers and triple clamps done for my RM. Which I should be getting everything back here soon so I can finally finish that damn build!

I had heard that , but hadn't really read much on it. I did my stuff for the looks of it , but if there is a slight performance gain , then that's a bonus.

Also reduces wear. I have some cranks and a cassette on a mountain bike that were cerakoted and have had the finish hold up much longer than anodizing.

If you split those cases you should superfinish all your bearing journals. Throw the gears into the Isotropic superfinish machine for a flash cut, probably gain 1/2-1 HP plus less heat/friction. I have always wondered if the factory teams ever carburize thier journals and superfinish.

So pretty. Almost fake looking, like I'm looking at a CAD model.
