Josh might race East? He's talking about 450's right?

Sounds pretty promising for Justin honestly! Over 2 months to really get dialed in with the bike is a good amount of time as well.

I listened to the interview twice. My honest take is that he speaks well and is thoughtful is what he says. That being said here's my interpretation; he never wanted to stop racing, he was only going to ride for a factory supported team, he felt afraid after WP got hurt, the JGR bikes were slow, and JGR was limited in what the were allowed to do to the bikes, he didn't have anyone fast to practice with and didn't have enough different tracks to ride, he didn't like living in the south and wanted to be on the west coast, he overtrained and burned himself out and finally got hurt. He is aware of the public perception of him and also said he has stepped away from music to focus on moto.

Josh says in Swapmoto Pit Pass he’s talking to teams for a 250 deal. Looks like he’s in good shape too and from what I can see on IG he’s going crazy fast again. Would be cool to see him battle it out with the 250’s on the East coast.

A few weeks ago, I was told Josh was testing the ClubMx / Traders bike and he’s actually eligible to race the 250 class, but there are some sponsor conflicts that Might make it impossible. Hopefully they can figure something out because that would be cool. Tons of talent.

The year Josh went at it privateer on the Yamaha, he was already thinking about dropping down to 250.

Josh has the speed.
It's weird because I am watching youtube on my ps4 and if you highlight the thumbnail for this video it's just showing a loop of the chick picking her wedgie over and over. It must be by design I would guess. Lol definitely a lot of weird background activity all the way to the end.

My biggest problem with Hill is he has piled on every team has ridden for. He says it in the first minute. of the interview. I have other things I want to do.

We can’t even get legit interviews in this sport and we wonder why riders are paid in peanuts. Love watching swapmotos stuff but the Audio is on par with RBSR’s “enhanced” setup.

Idk, huge fan of the dude but that sounded like a bunch of excuses to me. I’m glad he understands he needs to focus though. Sad but true

Being a native born NW guy here , I've been watching Justin and Josh ride since their 65cc and 85cc days , and knew and raced against their dad Monte on and off for years.

That being said......I believe Justin has it in him to do incredible things if he wants it , but desire is what the guy needs. It's got to the point of either " Put up , or shut up ". That's about as simple as I can say it.

No idea who she is, but she looked even better in person. Saw her sitting there when we went to check out Mookie and Mike’s bikes.

Justin's honey, maybe?

I hope the kid does well and flips off the naysayers. He has the talent, and speed...but also has needed some maturing in some vital areas, that he hasn't shown in the past. But, apparently Mike Genova believes in him enough to invest some money in him. We'll see...

Not going to say anything negative about the guy. I just don't like him, 2020 season will define his future in the sport.

Only SX deal, right?

I personally am not a fan but he has the opportunity to be the underdog and gain a ton of popularity and positive press.

Plus. Another guy in the mid is making for an insane season

Seems like when Justin was coming through the Amateur ranks I remember hearing things like...

"He has talent like his brother but way more work ethic"

'He is going to be like Josh but in better shape to capitalize on the talent"

Etc. Etc.

Was he a super in shape Amateur and started mailing it in when the Pro contract went to his head?

My take away is he was scared to "push".. in traffic.. especially in first turns.. WP injuries scared him and rightfully so.. that being said, to be casually riding and getting top 10's is absolutely nuts to me.. He has tons of injuries and if he really isnt scared this year, he is going to be exciting to watch.. I bet he top 5's in the series. Im hopeful for him...

The bike bogle holeshot every moto on was slow. !!!
He was nt unfit he was overtrained !!
I feel really bad for JGR . The guy did nt bother his ass. Back is againts the wall now . So he will try really hard this year . I bet he will actually do well this year. Then get a 2 yr deal and not bother his ass again . (Like on pro circuit, won the SX championship, them rode around in 13th all summer, but was prob because of the bike )

Imo , when he says i am not a guy to get my own bike and race. it never works out . I would have waited it out to see if i could get a ride . It worked out great for barica and willson , etc .

Was alway on the fence about him . But the guy is a d%#@

He’s a leach. He’s always motivated when he’s about to be unemployed. I’m pretty sure in his going to JGR interview the east coast and JGR was going to be exactly what he needed. Odd that he’d never do it as a privateer when so many guys have done that and wound up back on factory teams. To many guys with way more heart to keep giving this chump a shot. I’m calling a sx season high finish of 7th at one round and that’s being generous considering he only broke the top ten 2 times in 17 rounds. I really dot see how anyone could be a fan of this kid or his brother.
