Cornering in the woods? Advice?

Need some advice on taking corners faster in the woods. This is the thing that slows me down the most... I come to a corner and end up barely going through it at speed.

I cant get the mindset of “im going to wash out and eat sh**” everytime.

Most corners where we ride are slick mud, sandy, and loose gravel “service road” type trail to the actual trails.

Any advice would be helpful since I want to become a much faster rider in the woods.

Thx

The one major diffrence ive found in the woods is the ruts form diffently. If you spot a bump or tree root in the rut lift your ass off the seat, youll carry through easier and not get bucked. But if there is no obstruction in the rut you can hit it normally just like moto ruts.

Stand longer. Make sure your suspension is dialed in, the better and more comfortable you feel, the faster you will go.

Ride MX. Set up a figure 8 in a field. Set up a large circle in a field. Corner speed is corner speed.
