Chase has an awesome style on the 450. Smooth and looks totally in control and not on the edge. Another plus for him, I believe, is that he is very underestimated, and that could be dangerous for a bunch of other guys. If he gains more confidence with up front performances, then he may wind up turning up the intensity. I, for one, am looking forward to see how he develops this shortened season.

I was surprised he was fastest in qualifying. I like Chase and he has a solid wrench named Dungey. Bright future. I hope he gets his first win outdoors.

For all you guys saying he is no Dungey... neither was Dungey in 2010. All it took for him was a couple of good rides and he started believing in himself. Chase is one moto win away from that same feeling.

I voted "extremely long shot." Just like Dungey's first 450 title was. Wink

Can we just point out how Sexton is only in his third full pro year? Most people seem to forget that. What he has already done is really impressive. Do I think that Sexton will be in title contention in the end this year? Probably not. But I for sure know that he will suprise a lot of people, maybe even grab 1-2 overalls. How he improved in Supercross even from 2019 to this year was incredible and the 450 looks like it's made for him. I'm a big fan.

That is the whole point of this thread. Dungey got 8th overall at Hangtown in 2010, Sexton got 8th overall (while looking really good on the bike) in his first 450 mx. You got it?

He was on his way to a very possible 3rd place finish in the first moto and he did take 3rd second moto. In this incredibly stacked field. He's a rookie. Meanwhile Prado is getting 14th. Back-to-back supercross titles? And unless you've watched the race you can't know really, he's smooth on that 450.

Edit: Just saw the last race where Prado podiumed. Yes, I know he's the man.
