Don't bother. I've come to the conclusion that some people deserve to be scammed. Only way they'll learn...if they learn.

Joe, I am semi shocked that when you went out of your way to give a heads up, using time that should be applied to the cleaning up of your property, there are those posting poorly written satire, outright confusion, and generally some truly dumb ass shit here.
Then, I realized that I am on Vital MX.
Take “DICK” for example: He uses the Yiddish word Yenta, claims he knows what it means and posts for the readers (me mostly) to look it up. Well, I have heard and used that word for most of my life. But, for shits and giggles here is the dictionary version; a woman who is a gossip or busybody.
Joe Newman....Not a woman, yet. Gossip/busybody, not in any sense of the word.
I guess Vital would not be Vital without the DICKS.
No wonder I rarely visit this site.

put a damper on a good cold beer.

And considering I’m sleeping upstairs above my shop these days with an RC500 at the foot of the bed....life is still “pretty good”👍
Dude, I think I live right across IH-10 from you on Concord, small world. Cool

So is it a legit ad but using old pictures from when Newmann sold it originally? Or is it an ad where the bike isn’t actually “for sale”. The guy that Newmann sold it to should be able to verify if he still has it or if he sold it.
Fencepost here. I still have the bike, framed it and looks nothing like those pics.

This is a scammer using Joe's pics.

Joe, nothing to see here, you obviously had no idea what you were talking about. 🙄

Yep, then the bike owner shows up with proof and gets downvoted from the peanut gallery. Like I said , some people deserve to get scammed.

I’ll give you your money back if you want to sell it...😁

Looks good! Hope you’ve had some good times with it.

Can someone explain how this scam would work? How do you sell something you don't have? Request a wire payment before even seeing it?
What happened to my friend: Guy "selling" a used KX450F a year or so old, priced about what it should be with pictures. My buddy goes to look at it, by himself, out in the sticks. He shows up, they BS in the driveway and then the guys asks if he brought cash. My buddy says yes. They go into the barn where the bike is supposed to be and then is robbed at gun point and "locked" in the barn. It takes him a couple of minutes to compose himself and get out of the barn. Guy is long gone. He calls the cops and finds out the house is for sale and vacant.

For the record, I didn’t downvote his post. I’m glad that fencepost cleared things up.
