looks sweet.

i'm still waiting on a followup to Baja : Edge of Control. loved that game and the online 1000 races were a blast. i liked that you could put it on auto-pilot and get up for the bathroom or to grab a beer. also, calling in a helicopter pit crew.

game was awesome

Looks awesome. Looking forward to this. I enjoyed the old Dakar games on PS2. This should be pretty rad.

A licensed Dakar game. Seems everyone can get licensing right except the team that's been at it the longest. So strange. If there is some serious road book reading, this could be really great and require some serious skill. Depends how they approach it. Either way, cool to have a new Dakar game.

The developers have said this on Facebook:

Each stage should take you roughly between 1-2 hours to complete. But of course, it'll depend on your navigation and driving skills. And that is considering you actually complete the stage

I dont expect the motorbike physics to be anywhere close to perfect considering all the other vehicles they have to develop but that onboard footage looks good. Gotta brush up on the road book reading

I figure there will be three levels of navigating difficulty

-Arrow shows you where to go. No challenge.

- Arrow points you in a general direction if you're too far off the course

-No help. All road book. Good luck son
