Basically looking for opinions from those who have used Dragon goggles. How is overall performance of the goggles? It appears based on their Instagram page that not many of their riders use the NFX2 goggles. Is there a reason or are they trying to push the MXV line this year? How are the MDX2? I have a chance at a new pair of them for a good price. I understand that those are an older model but these would only be a practice/extreme weather condition pair. If I like them then I would look into purchasing one of their higher end lines. Thanks,
Adam

I have a bit of experience with them. The NFX2 is an adapted snow goggle, if you look at the side of the frame there is a gap where the strap goes for snow. The outrigger was added for an MX strap. The MXV is a specifically designed MX goggle that i have been using for a while now, theyre a great goggle but only go for the MXV PLUS or MAX, they have some better features and in the UK we get an extra lense with the better ones. Might be worth checking that out too

I've been wearing the same Dragon NFXs goggles for snowboarding, downhill mountain biking and dual sport riding for over 3 years now and they are showing no signs of slowing down... I have no plans of upgrading to new ones anytime soon either.

Here is a good thread about the original NFX goggles.

Dragon NFX for trail riding. The field of view is so wide it's like looking out a picture window.

NFXs for racing. It has a narrower field of view than the NFX- better for staying focused on your line.

I haven't tried the new MXV yet.

I personally run the NFX2, I really like them they fit well, soak up a ton of sweat and the lens removal/install system is amazing.
